Definitely a courageous attempt by the Nepali film industry. Though the acting seemed forced at times, I am impressed by the fact that someone decided to make a movie with such a different theme, and a universal one. Waiting for its release.
its films like this that should be nominated for the oscars instead of that slumdog crap.
its a good effort but sad that a dhoti has to produce this
hope it turns out better than kagbeni.
thats a pity brother.......we can't find beauty within ourselves.. someone from outside has to come to show us how beautiful our country is.. the only thing we can do is fight with each other
The trailor promises alot ... need to watch the whole movie to comment
scenery good.........actors all good...........story line good..........directed by dhoti........a big lesson!!!!! voice introduction.........................lame.
by the way did you guys know that this movie was shot using canon hv30...........a dhoti with a low budget film have taken full benefit of beautiful scenery of nepal.........hope it does not say ....its part of india......

As usual, the acting sucks big time.
I am not trying to put someone down personally, but as actors can you campare these kids with someone like Dakota Fanning? The kid crying towards the end of the trailer........just lame acting. But of course the bar in nepalese acting is quite low so I guess it will pass.
But do not think that actings like these will win you an international awards...
Definately a good try. I think I know the kind of movie that they are trying to make but it has not come out the way the director wanted.
- The voiceover is not impressive
- The acting is not all that natural
- Location is definately awesome but photography is not
Have to give credit for the try. Keep trying.
I also think this lacks what Kagbeni delivered.
Its a good attempt.
We should appreciate good things. I can't understand why many people, such as dhirajohja, Power_Ranger etc, are negative minded.
dhiraj ojha, thats sad man. Coz we used that camera duriing our lower level class of digital film techniques. Ow, That camera is the cheapest way for hd film.
but i guess, since its already a scenic place he didnt think about bette camera.
Like some of the best shots of 28 days later was shot by a dv cam.
hey!!!!!!!!!
just eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. hope it releases soon and gets nominated in the oscar.........
