How much gold is legally permitted to bring in Nepal any idea?
hey I had the same question that I posted here in sajha like a year ago. I kinda forgot if the thread is still there. I think you can take certain quantity with you.
you can wear some and take some, but there is a limit. They ususllly will give you hard time in nepal most of the time. Don t take too much because they will give you hard time in US too. because they telll you to fill out the amount of assets you are carrying in the form. so be very careful because the price of gold has gone up and the money conversion of the gold could be quite high too. So take only a limit.
ny thing u wear will not apply . if u hv ny thing in ur luggage will count.
which means it is all wht u can wear and go....
No point.... if u r going to buy gold biscuit
you will have no profit....
but there is profit if u get gold from nepal
so think the otherway....

As i know we can export Gold to Nepal per person 50 grams from abroad.
Note: You should have compulsory original purchase invoice as a proof.
Custom Department of Nepal may ask you invoice for the evidence.
