hamro desh lai kina sati ley sarapeko desh bhaneko ..kossai lai thaha chha???? i had heard the story but cant quite remember it..it is about one states men being sentenced for death..and his wife while going Sati...cursed nepal..
saying "yaha ramro garneko ko kahiley bhalo nahos!!!!" something like that... does anyone know the whole story.. pz share!!!

ya its related to Bhimsen Thapa. He was the prime minister and was the son of Amar Singh Thapa. As a prime minister he ruled the country for a long time but all you guys know about chakari pratha ....that made the king sent this person into prison . Pandeys and bhandaris were involved in this ...inside prison he was forced to hear so many disgusting things regarding him and even his wife ....which ultimately forced him to commit sucide ....this made his wife enraged and she said any one who does or intends to do good For Nepal should accept the fact that it would be their cause to ultimate demise...
dudes, its not wife of bhimsen thapa, its wife of Bhim Malla, a Nepalese deligate for Tibet in Malla Era.
Its said that while he was in Tibet, he did many good things in Nepal's favour. But his enimies spoken against him to the Malla king (forgot the name). When he returned back to Nepal, he was arrested and killed. As the tradition, his wife went Sati with his dead body and before he and his alive wife was burnt, she cursed - "From now and on, in Nepal, those who does good dids may never have happy ending."
That's the reason why Nepal is called Satile Sarapeko Desh.
Lakshmi Narasimha Malla was the king at the time. He became insane after he realized that he had ordered the death of an innocent and loyal man (Bhim Malla). That is why his son Pratap Malla had to dethrone him and take the power.

Bro story ta Raju161 le bhaneko chai ho jasto lageko thiyo but don't know may be Ganapati is right. In this topic, I don't think this whole sarap thing is right. Few peoples le gareko galti ko lagi purai desh lai sarapne tyo women chai ho desh ko maya na bhako deshdrohi. Thousand of innocent peoples were killed in Maoist war who would have curse their own country and good peoples. Even if she f u c k ing cursed it doesn't mean a S H I T. What happened to her was definatly not good but wasn't worse enough to curse whole Nepal and Nepalese. It was just a part of f u c k ed up history. So brothers don't worry, again it doesn't mean a S H I T, so take it easy and just keep working to make our country good.
