Is it true that starting Nov 12 stamping for change of status from F1 to H1b is not allowed from Canada and Mexico ? Can somebody confirm this ?

I am not sure about that. My interview is on Jan 15th. Lets see. But yes, I could not get appointments for TX and Arizona counsulates. I am going to tiawana
