Today my home is bright
Glowing it with innumerous light
 
No it is not Christmas
It is the Tihar  I like most

Tihar always brings colors in life
Laughter and Fun are all time high

Smells of flowers, oil, and food
I would go back if I could

But I am here with my fate
Sad, gloomy, and alone instead

I want to decorate my home again
Play cards and win the game

But game of life is not in my hand
That is why I am just praying

Long live my brothers with prosperity and joy
I am the luckiest sister ever can say

"SUBHA DIPAWALI"
