Most of us have bachelors from Nepal and have a masters here in US. Do U know which state ackowledges TU's B.E. and allows to take PE the earliest???
how about in IL do u guys have any idea???
Aashish,
If you are in IL and have bachelor's degree from TU, the first thing you need to do is to contact "The Center for Professional Engineering Evaluation Services (CPEES), Miami, FL" and get your degree evaluated. Once you get green light from there, prepare for Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. You can sit for FE exam during your masters degree as well (note if you work as RA during your masters degree, later on that might count partially towards work experience). When you pass the FE exam, you achieve Engineer Intern (EI)
status. The rule of thumb is "you must have four years of engineering
experience as EI under the
supervision of a licensed PE in order to take
the PE exam." Good luck !!
