Hello NFL fanatics,
As you all know we have created the sajha nfl picks application. We got good feedback from a lot of people and it provides an exciting prospect. We now have come up with a prizing scheme for the winner at the end of the season, whoever wins with the maximum game point and maximum prediction percentage will win some monetary prize. I am thinking of collecting a one time participation fee of $5 for the season so that the winner gets their prize at the end of the season. I think this is a fair compensation for anyone who works hard and is lucky enough to make the correct prediction throughout the season.
I need your feedback, please let me know what you guys think of the plan. If we all agree on this I will start collecting the money ASAP.

week 1 games will not be counted for the official score if people are willing to play for prize money.
I'm in if you're planning to collect $5. But, the way the winner is picked by the maximum points isn't fair for somebody if he/she joins after, say 3 weeks. He/she will never be able to catch points earned by the person who has been playing since week 1. The solution might be declaring winner percentage-wise like we had last year, but the person has to predict at least 'x' number of games before counting on the real ranking table. This is my opinion. Everybody, please have your say.

my point exactly sahayog, so far there are only handful of people who have shown interest in regards to the money prize thing. im still waiting, if we even have like 10 people by sunday in paying $5 participation fee we can forward and play for the money. so far it doesn't look too good.
ill keep this thread going until saturday
man.. i think.. for this season is not possible.. or you have to work out a lot.. but if you give the prenotice like a month before or 2 and close the participation before 1 week the season starts then it would be fine.. and also for the participants collect $5 and with $5 keep like $1 as the service charge and the maintenance charge.. the transfer charge.. and in the finals the person who has the most percentage or the points they get the money.. divide it or or if there is only one then give it to him in the form of check or transfer it.. that's you to decide..
if you want to work out a lot.., then among the participants if they want to bet more then they can bet in the superbowl but only the participants coz if there are more people.. then the participants would be wasting the time checking the sajha and the points and the other people would just come and bet and get the money for nothing..
and the last thing.. if you do so.. it would be like gambling man.. just check the legal personalities.. whether you can do that or not.. or else you sajha.com will be fined for betting or something like that..
