Introducing Sajha NFL Picks
To all the NFL lovers in sajha, we now have a better way to make our weekly NFL picks without the hassle of having to go through each and every post to sort out the wins and losses. Thanks to San dai, we can now do this in a much efficient manner using the Sajha NFL Picks application.

Since this application was introduced late in week 1, after the giants and redskins game, we have decided to scrap the week 1 results and not take it as the official score. Our official prediction scores will be taken from week 2 onwards. Let me know what you guys think about it, any comment or suggestions are more than welcome.
From week 2 onwards, anyone who wants to participate needs to pick a winning team for all the games else we will count the ones that were left unpicked as loss. We need more insight on the scoring scheme, up till now we have decided to give 3 points to correct prediction and 0 for wrong ones. Scoring will be different during the playoffs.

Also, the NFL Pick page would be better served if the person with the most points were to be at the top of the list.
Damn, Brady's injury is a big blow. As much I hate that guy, it was always a pleasure to see him set the standard for all the QB's in the league. Hope he recovers fast, albeit already too late this season. The improved Jets and Bills can now certainly have their eyes on that division which was inconceivable before Brady's injury.
Game of Week No 1 (IMO) - Delhomme and the Panthers score a last second TD to upset the Chargers.
Upset of the Week - Bears top the Colts 29-13 at Indy's new retractable roof stadium.

i guess there are about the same number or even more fans of college football, can we make a college footbal pick em contest to, just a curiosity, otherwise we have to stay with college pick em contest in threads.
Sahayog, ranking system is still being worked on and we will have it soon. as for your wats for the grab question so far just the boasting opportunity and pride but hey there could be more if everyone agrees on some kind of prizing scheme.
Shivanagar, Im not much into college football, so you will have to take this matter to San, im sure he can come up with a similar application to help you guys out. When we started this application scalibility and enhancement was one of our main focus, so we might see a similar application for college football, NBA, Football (Soccer) etc etc. depending upon San dais avialability.
Lurey, Great to see the ranking system already put into place. Yes, I will be more than willing to contirbute my bit that will help set up a prizing scheme.
sahayog if everyone agrees we should definitely do it. Lets see if they will reply here. I should say $5 per entry for the entire season should be good enough, judging by the number of participants who are willing to pay, lets not forget this is just for fun.

hmnn.. so once selected, you cannot change later. it would be nice to make a last minute change just before the game or at least one day before the game starts, so that sometimes, when a QB or someone important gets injured and is going to loose the game. my 2 pence.

OK whoever is maintaining this schedule here at Sajha , Baltimore vs Houston game should be Removed from the week 2 list.
That game has now moved to NOV 9.
And I also second Sujanks suggestion that choices should be allowed to change atleast until the game starts at 12. Because sometime you find out some important information about a team in Morning NFL talk shows.
That will help make Educated guesses and not just Lucky guesses. Just a thought.....
Those are great suggestions; however at this point we have limitation with the application regarding making the changes at the end. I will talk with San dai and see if that can be accomodated. Thanks guys

hehe thanks McLovin...you are counting your chicken before they hatch regarding the pats vs jets game..it should be a good game.. regarding the vikes and colts im looking forward to Manning burning the vikes weak secondary, it should be easier than a practice game for Payton, this is the right game for him to polish his passing game and boost his confidence.
