Parbatya's Fon Number: Mathematical Puzzle
This question is dedicated to Parbatya, the Guniess who is always there with a correct answer for my pirated mathematical problems.
Parbatya's special mobile number has ten digits, beginning with 0.
When I tap it into my phone keypad, I note that-
- no two adjacent digits of his number are in the same column or row of my keypad
- the 2nd digit is even
- the 4th digit is odd, and 7 different from the 3rd digit
- the 5th and 6th digits differ by 1
- the last 3 digits are in ascending order
My keypad is laid out as shown:
123
456
789
*0#
What is his number?
My brain still works and I can tell you without any calculation. But you know what lets other try it first
Well, it is not his real mobile number. It is a special one.

but chyame kancha, in your answer 0481761359 , 1 and 7 are from the same column.(4th and 5th digit)
how does this look
0481675359
I think it looks fine, as OcRam didn't mention about 7th digit.

One more mathematical question: You have eight balls, all of the same size. 7 of them weigh the same, and one of them weighs slightly more. How can you find the ball that is heavier by using a balance and only two weighings?
If you use all the numbers from 0-9 and not repeat the same number more than once, then one of the solutions might be the following:
062-9438-157
choose six balls and weigh three against three, if they weigh the same, you have another weighing for the remaining 2 balls and you can find the heavier one if they don’t weigh the same, from the group of 3 which was heavier, choose any 2 balls and weigh them: if they weigh the same, the remaining ball is the heavier one; otherwise you just found the heavier one by weighing the 2 chosen balls.
Sorry Guys,
Only DELICATE got the correct phone number.
Opps bit late Anyway it was wrong lol

You didn't mention the numbers could not be repeated!
that's what common sense is.
OcRam,
oh! you gave my phone no here in sajha?Only one digit is off from the list. And I have to say that you are the teacher while I am still learning at puzzles although my older mind is trying to avoid mathematical exercises.
Anyway thanks for the dedication. Have a nice long weekend !
