आजवाट चीनमा ओलम्पीक खेल शुरु भएको छ । कतै नहुनेपो हो कि भन्ने आशंका चिर्दै बेइजिङ्गमा भब्य समारोहकाविच ओलम्पीकको उद्घाटन भएको छ । थोरै खेलाडि धेरे घुमन्ते बोकेर नेपालपनि वेइजिङ्ग ओलम्पीकमा सहभागि भएको छ । विवादका विच २८ जनाको लामो लर्कोका साथ चीनमा आयोजीत ओलम्पीक प्रतियोगितामा सहभागि हुन गएका नेपाली टोलिहरुमध्ये पदकको आशा गरिएका भनेका तेक्वान्दोका खेलाडि दिपक विष्टवाट मात्र हो । कडा परिश्रम र लगनशिलताका साथ अगाडि बढेका उनी प्रतिष्पर्धावाट ओलम्पीकका लागि चयन भएकाले पनि उनले नेपालको नाममा यो पाली पदक भित्र्याउने धेरैको आशा र भरोसा समेत रहेको छ । एसियास्तरिय छनौट प्रतियोगितामा सहभागि भएर उनी ओलम्पीकको छनौटमा परेका हुन ।

दशौ साग प्रतियोगिताका गोल्डमेडल विजेता रहेका उनले ओलम्पीक प्रतियोगितामा समेत सफलता पाउन सकुन आउनुस शुभकामना दिउ ।

Guys Debu Thapa for Judo was mentioned in nepal news but in the Judo page in NBC with all the Athelete Nepal is not mentioned and so No Debu thapa???? I wonder whats goin on...........

Debu Thapa is a slim medal hope for Nepal as she won the silver medal in 10th South Asian games....
I hope Nepal will th name in Medal tally this year....

From what I have heard, Deepak Bista is the only Nepali athlete who is squarely in competition. Others are all in wildcard spots. Maybe that is why you did not see their names.

Please post if anybody here know if and when we can see Deepak Bista in Olympic action.

Kamal Bahadur Adhikari was suposed to lift the weight today....
What happen to him....
He is also a wild card but he is our country men who is representing us in the world stage....
I hope he wont hold the last position...

काठमाडौँ। चीनको राजधानी बेइजिङमा सञ्चालन भइरहेको उनन्तीसौं गृष्मकालीन ओलम्पिक खेलकुद प्रतियोगिताअन्तर्गत भारोत्तोलन ६९ केजी तौल समूहतर्फ नेपालका कमल अधिकारी यसअघि आफैले राखेको राष्ट्रिय कीर्तिमान तोड्न सफल हुनुभएको छ।
आज दिउासो १२ बजे सम्पन्न उक्त प्रतियोगितामा अधिकारीले स्न्याचमा ११४ केजी र क्लिन एण्ड जर्कमा १५४ केजी गरी जम्मा २६८ केजी तौल उचालेर नयाा राष्ट्रिय कीर्तिमान कायम गर्नुभएको हो।
यसअघि उहााको नाममा स्न्याचमा ११३ केजी र क्लिन एण्ड जर्कमा १५३ केजी गरी जम्मा २६६ केजीको राष्ट्रिय कीर्तिमान थियो।
बेइजिङ ओलम्पिकमा सहभागी नेपाली आठ खेलाडीमध्ये सबैभन्दा पछि वाइल्ड कार्ड पाउनुभएका अधिकारीको ढाडमा समस्यासमेत रहेको छ।
दुई महिनाअगाडि जापानमा सम्पन्न सिनियर एसियन च्याम्पियनसीप प्रतियोगितामा सहभागी हुने क्रममा अधिकारीको ढाडमा सामान्य चोट लागेको हो।
अधिकारीले आशा गरे अनुरुप प्रदर्शन गरे पनि ओलम्पिकको छनोट चरण भने पार गर्न सकेनन्।
छनोट चरण समूह सीमा आठजनामध्ये अधिकारी छैटौं स्थानमा परेका थिए।

India got their first gold of this olympics. They now have 9 gold medals in their history.

Again, they got their first gold of this years olympics, not the first in their history.

don't just comment for sake of commenting. Keep it to yourself. I do not see a slightest hint from quagmire that he was talking anything for or against India. Grow up man.

If you really want to go counter against india, you should study Indian History. Again, i have no doubt in my you next comment would be, "tai padd na indian history saale, f-bomb india, blah blah." So i don't think it will work so in plain words, its same when athletes look at tapes of other athletes before the competition. Kuch samjha buddhu -(just to put some fire in your agony)

According to the profile, Dipak Bista is 5'7" and 180 lbs. The height and weight combination doesn't look impressive for an Olympian. Good luck to him, though.

hey N well i'll try to grow up as u suggest but i m a bit confused r u a paid indian employee so u r talking in indian language was it not enough for the vice president to take oath in indian language and now you u r trying promote indian language among our sajha friends. so about the f-bomb its in my habit but hey i m trying not to use it u fu(k*r o extremely sorry tounge slipped hahahah
