Are u joking? I am gonna excited man.
Guys, its not a friday joke, the date shown above is for the direct deposit who have filed online and of course student gets it as well if you've worked on check and have filed for the tax rebate 1040EZ
great friday news!Go IRS!
$600 if u are single , and u get $1200 if u filed tax as Married filing jointly.
No. It's not. 300 if you are single. 600 if you have a baby. 1200 if you are married filing jointly.
I have done my Tax Return via H & R block ,
It was a direct Deposit, thru Them,
Now as mentioned I should have Money in my bank account by thoday.
But I havent received it yet...
any help?
Mero pani aajai aaunu parne khai ta ... aako chaina....
I'm not sure but I guess the Tax Rebate it's only for the US Residents.
It is for everyone who filed their 2007 taxes by April 15th.
You will not get if you filed 1040NR...else it is $600 for single and $1200 for married filing joinly. 1040 and 1040EZ will give you refund. eyes_Nepal...you are correct theoritically because International student or any one currently in J, F, M or Q should file 1040NR.
I guess that explains.
I am 1040EZ filer. I already got my tax refund. Hopefully I will get a check of $600 thru stimulus package ( in late June or early July).
Though I have mentioned "Married Filing Jointly" in the tax return, I am, however, likely to get $600 (not $1200) as my wife does not have social security number. To get $1,200, both husband and wife should have social security number.
Mr. Simsim...just curious...how did you file your wife's return without her social security number?? Did you paper filing where you tick marked married filing jointly but left wife's SSN blank??

Yes, I did that and IRS returned my check in the same status.

I was employed in early December 2007. Furtunately, my income was just over 3000, a threshold to be eligible for the stimulus package. I am expecting a check of $600. If I get a check of $1200, I will consider that as a windfall. Let's see what happens.
1040NR --> no rebate check
no SSN --> you can still apply for tax identification number (TIN). You will get more back when filing jointly.
Right, you don't get tax rebate if you are a non-resident alien (like me :(
I got mine on Friday 2nd $300 instead of $600.
i din get mine
i sud have got on may 3rd list but no
am sad
