yes, with my personal experience, its a good way to send money home, and its a one time sign in only, from next time, all u need to do is give the amount numbers and just click send, pretty easy too.

- Well, each of us has different experience. Mine wasn't a good one. I would say, "Be aware of Muncha".
https://www.money.muncha.com/info_tos.php  Read this link. Of all, following in there makes me uncomfortable to use or recommend others to use Muncha. They look at your credit history and also share your personal information like Social Security, Date of Birth, and Complete address with any third party. Be careful, it could end up at Nigeria and be victim of credit theft; It may not; but is hard to say. After all, Western Union, Money Gram neither ask for SSN or for Date of Birth.
Nepalese Companies like Thamelremit.com , moneytonepal.com ask Date of Birth but not SSN, and WORST OF ALL, Muncha Money asks for your Social Security AND Date of Birth. WHY? Well, read their hidden disclosures below. Choice is your's. I would rather send through moneygram if less than 2-4K or, through Bank Wire transfer if more than that. Good Luck. -----Again, BE AWARE OF MUNCHA...
Even their rate is low... most of the time...

I have transferred money  2-3 times to Nepal through Mucha.com and they have done a good job.  So far I don't have any complain against them.  But like  Fantas said above, they do ask for your SS#, DoB and check your credit history which made me uncomfortable.

Muncha is really good. Muncha takes time to deliver money compare to moneygram and western union, but if its urgent, muncha delivers money in a day too(on request).

When they say its free, its not really free. They usually give 1% less on exchange rate i.e. 60-65 paisa less per dollar except UMTCL. Check this out

Date: 6 May

Exchange Rate:

Muncha - 64.1025

Thamel - 64.10

MoneyToNepal - 64.10

UnionMoney (UMTCL) - 64.70

Nepal Rastra Bank - 64.75

I have not send money but had sent some stuff for fathers day last time. I requested for the picture too. The picture was so bad I couldn't even recognize my own parents. And my parents asked me not to send anything as the fruits were not in good condition.

In summary, it was not as it was shown in the picture and what I had expected. Then I tried shopandbuds or sth like that. they were even worst. I just felt like it's better not waste hard earned bucks on them.

So, it has been a year I just give then a call and wish them. I send stuffs if someone goes to Nepal rather than using these guys service.

So, I should say I was not happy and I am not even trying any of them anymore.

By the way there was thread about Munchha last time ( may be 1  yrs or less), and I had responded there too.

I have a question to all the people who have used this service before. If you want them to deliver the money literally at your home, do they do it? Or is it like they call you and you go and collect it from them?

All I see in this thread is people concerned, if muncha has good service. May be I do not understand what does that good service mean.
I have copied and pasted their terms and condition from their web-site and their link above; which seems quite scary. It says loud and clear that they will be the boss of your credit history and they will control when they want. It may not be the first company to say that, however Its definitely ONLY the one for this service of money transfer besides actual BANKs. Western Union, Money Gram, moneytonepal.com, thamelremit.com NONE of them ask for your SSN and None of them have such scary disclosures.
Credit History, your SSN should be highly confidential info to not to share unless MUST, here it is not must. So think about it. Sharing your Credit History and profile with third-party like they say on their terms doesn't quality to be called "Good Service"..
