Refer to link http://www.nepalnews.com/archive/2008/apr/apr20/news09.php Cmrd Badal on King, Nepal, Military and a few other things. But the most worrisome is:

"... Furthermore, he said the party believes in making military training mandatory to all citizens, adding that this would also help in downsizing the army..."

What u think?

This might be a great start to eradicate Maoist. Good job Maoist. Forcefully do whatever you want with the country and people and one day all citizens will cut all maoist into pieces...

In democratic country, every person should have their own wish to live life in their own way. If maoist force towards strict communism then maoist can not stick in Nepal's politics.

I think he wants to adopt to the Isreal or Slovakia's rule like the youths have to do certain training compulsory. Will this work for Nepal though??

Maoist should be speaking about peace process, education and development in country rather than just King, Military and how to torture more civil citizen. Nepali citizen want peaceful life... We all are fed up with current government thats why maoist won the election but that does not mean we citizen will tolerate any stupid wild statement made by any maoist leader...

I welcome this idea of compulsory military training. It is very important for nations that have potential threats from its neighbors. Even Democratic but small countries like South Korea and Israel did not employ this policy for no reason.
Here is a fringe benefit; when you are visiting a foreign country and you tell them you are from Nepal, they will automatically think you are a tough guy/girl and treat you with respect because they will know that you are from one of the few countries that have required military training.

Don't get me wrong guys, but Badal is right. If nepali people really felt that maoist is necessary and voted them for that, maoist should implement/keep their words. They should seek ally for all those communism things they sloganed during civilwar. If now they change their track just to be in mainstream politics, why these MOFO killed 15,000 people (here some dumbazz might come opposing and saying Nepal army killed more. For them I have a question, which SOB started so called civilwar and killing people. Responsibility for death of all people should be taken only by this fuggers). Now dickheads like Pranchande and Baburam (dherai padhera bahulako) are changing themselves like UML. Whats worth of killing so many people then?

They are trying to deviate their first slogan: Amirici samrajyabaad ra bharatiya bistarbaad murdabaad.

I wanna ask them: ye raadika chora ho ahile tyo kura baata mukh ferna thiyo bhane deslai yesto uthalputhal paarera 50 barsa pachadi kina dhakeleu? tetra manche kina mareu?

Thats not a bad idea at all until they pose some strict rules and regulations regarding it.The military training should not be that long and they should try to adjust with the circumstances of people. After being in US for a while, don't u guys compare ur physical size with those of Americans. We r far behind and looks like we r diseased having only protuded belly(some form of marasmus).Anyway, most of the youths kill their time in Nepal just by roaming around the streets, teasing gurls, smoking cigrattes, it would not be a bad idea to stole some of their time and invest on some productive initiatives.

Mao-tard Badal should do himself and everybody else a favor and shut the fck up and sit the fck down.  Everybody knows he's just trying to eliminate the army as an effective counter to his terrorist cadres.

What an ugly, pathetic little Mao-tard.

And why exactly do we need every citizen to have formal military training.
In todays mordern warefare, without air support gorund troops would be like sitting ducks (if the Maoist are preparing for threat against China or India). One big bomb and the whole nation goes kaput!

Maybe be a good idea if we can send the entire nepalese population on UN peace keeping mission and earn dollars to pay for their Free education and healthcare plan.
