Well, I was just wondering that in the April uprising 2006 hardly any Tibetans came to support the movement.

Therefore here are some stupid Questions,
1. Now, since Nepal is a secular state, why are the Tibetans coming with their movement now?? Y didn't they join hands with us in the April movement to support us?

2. Do they deserve to do their movement?

3. Do they realize how much pain and suffering we Nepalese had to take to free our country from dominant rule and why didn't they join us?? they were merely living in their high business earned homes enjoying themselves to the fullest and laughing at our country each time someone got booted by the cops.

4. If Gyanendra still had the powers, would the Tibetan do their movement?

5. We still have many movements going on in our country. Does this Tibetan movement bring about more chakka jam and waste of government money? and waste of time ?? and waste of Nepali people who wants to keep their shops open??

WATS YOUR OPINION???

At least Bhotee are NOT killing people, unlike Madeshis.
If Bihari can kill Nepali under the name of Madhesi revolution and demands a separate state, what is wrong with Peaceful Protest. It's the police who turn them into crazy. Had they not been there, nothing physical would have happened.
The word "Bir Gorkhey" is such a coward name that we attach to ourself when we, Nepali are pushed left and right from Indian to China. I can't wait for the Ethiopians to come to Nepal and kick our ass, demanding their right over  Eritrea. Any moran can come and kick our "Bir Gorkhey" ass. You can say anything here, nothing is going to change.Enjoy the beating and the shame.

I decided to do my own research on the Panchasheel agreement. If my sources are correct, the agreement was ONLY between Indian and China. Didn't find anything that included Nepal as being a participant in the agreement.

And the agreement mentioned "non-agression", "peaceful co-existence" between the two countries. Didn't Indian and China fight two wars in the 60s? So I guess we can exclude the Panchasheel Agreement from this discussion.

FREE TIBET!!! capture Chikat. I can't believe how u are supporting Maoist here. Hey, I do believe in what they want but completely again the road they choose to achieve it. I guess that's where our thoughts and personality differ.

About bir gorkhali thing that u are trying to associate with makes me laugh. I completely agree with what outlandish put in here. That is absolutely true and yaa Chikat if u don't know ur baje Prachanda has already sold Nepal to India. Just wait until he becomes president of Nepal and go back to Nepal and fight like bir gorkhe. You dead body will not even find a proper place to rest. Do u really think world is same as it was when Bhimsen Thapa fought for our country.

And yaa ohh!! wait u might say I won't die and that might be true 'coz u left ur country to save ur monkey azz in US. Wannabe Partiotic, just give up ur fabricated passion for Nepal and quit being proud on bir gorkhey. That's just a saying these days bro.

Shame on ur education.... chyaaaaaaaaaa..........

hello all,
apparently, we did send one Tibetan representative for April'2006  movement. And this person reported back to me.

For all your information; he goes by the nick-name of chikat in sajha discussion. He informed us that he got beaten and was injured and that he walked like 30 km (BTW KTM to Nagarkot is about 26km); as he resides on top of Nagarkot tower.

thank you all for participating in this discussion.
ob yeah... Free Tibet

C'mon people, let's refrain from attacking each other's ethnicities and keep this discussion as civilized as possible.

We're all Nepalese,aren't we??

Who needs free Tibet and why? I guess we Nepalese people o not free Tibet.

Now, Tibetan Refugee in Nepal are mixing religion and politics and that is not tolerated by Nepalese Govt. They can not shout Free Tibet Slogan at the public religious place like Swayambhu and again, Nepal Govt. has this policy of not allowing any forces to do any such activities that is targetted against Friendly Nation's sovereignty in Nepalese land.

Tibetan can go to Tibet and can do anything they want but not in Nepal.

They have a right to protest and if those protests are peaceful, which they have been for the most part, there is a lot we can learn from them about peaceful protests. When Nepalese protest,  we protest like  maniacs burning down telephone booths, smashing cars, vandalizing public property etc. There might have been some of that in Lhasa but I give the protesters full credit for keeping things mostly under control in Kathmandu.

The more interesting question is whether Tibetan independence is a good thing for Nepal. Sure the Dalai Lama does not seek full independence, but should Tibet ever become independent, what does that mean for Nepal? Are we better off, worse off or unaffected by an independent Tibet?

Food for thought.

Tibetans have full rights to protest not only in Nepal but thoroughout the world againsts Chinese Government. This is the right time so that their voice can be heared by the rest of the world. Chinese Government doesn't even give rights to its own people, there is no way that Chinese Govt.will  give rights to Tibetans. Chinese  don't have rights on anything from family planning to sports. It was on MSNBC documentary about Yao Ming about  3 years ago or so, Yao Ming has to give $20,000,000 to Chinese Govt  every  year so that he can play basketball in US. Not only him all  the chinese athlets have to give 100% of their earnings to the government. The Govt. takes away young kids from their families to train for years and they are allowed to see their families once or twice a year. They don't get nothing in return. Those families get little bit more benefits than others. It was in CNN report on Planet in Peril by Anderson Cooper and Dr. Sanjay Gupta that the villagers are dying of cancers because of the polutated water from the industries. Govt. covered it up. Not only that Jerry Yang the CEO of Yahoo  reported  Chinese Govt againsts two chinese  reportes who wrote againsts Govt. Now they are in jail.Chinese people need Visa to go from one place to another. Is that democracy? I don't know how long the chinese Govt. last but sooner or later it will blast. My point is Tibetans are free to protest in Nepal againsts Chinese evil  Govt.
