I am qualified Librarian/Library Technician in Sydney Australia, can any one give any idea about the job situation and job demand for this profession in USA. I will be greatful.

Damn, I just visited our local library and looked up the job posting. It said Librarian with a Master Degree was getting $30/hour. I don't know whether it's high or too low.Well I'm in the northwest, one of the most literate state of the US. We're 2nd this year,1st last year. It can be different in other states.

well In Australia also it is like $25.00 - $30.00 per (AUD)... well lets see some friends from other state may help me and give me some idea,
