In case you havent heard, nepal "turned" into a FDR . Does anyone know what that means in simple english? I mean the political philosphy of a federal deomcratic republic...how is that diffferent from or similar to conventional Democraatic system of governance?

Meaning is "Boodh-Bhat" i think which is similar to what is currently. Added Repubilc just to abolish Monarchy and Federal Democratic for not excluding Panchay and Mandalae. Doesn't this sound like the same ol' thing ?? This is my opinion.

may be it means that the country will be an autonomous collection of individual regions, in which each region will govern itself. may be just like US, in which all the states are working autonomously and all fall under a single government, but with some differences.
I am not sure about that. But Ethiopia is an example of FDR. There is an article in Wikipedia that might help. search for FDR in wikipedia, i was too lazy to read it.

What i think is that, nepal ma ahile ko youth leaders na aaye samma nepal ko government le ahile jastai kaam garcha.
nepal ko citizen lai jati j bhane pani jati change bhayo bhaenra gaf haney pani, government tyei nai ho. aba government change baye pachi matrai nepal change huncha. maoist le pani kehi gardainanm uniharu lai afno party nai manage garna sakeko chainan k garchan ra. desh bigareko maoist le ho. desh ma kehi development kaam haru suru bhayeko pani close gaare maoist haru le, ahile aayera desh bhakti ko geet gayera huncha. janata lai bhulyauna naya naya nabhujhe political kura liyera aayera huncha ra.
i dont know and no offense to anybody, but i think Nepal ko politics is fully governed by India.
i know that i am one of the youth of my country that came to US because I think that i cant do anything in my country. But one day, i am gonna return to my country, j bhaye pani jasto bhaye pani mero lagi ta nepal dherai ramro cha. nepali dherai ramra chan.
and, mero kura le kasailai effect parcha bhane I am sorry, i am just expressing my personal feelings. but i love my country.

This probably is a good article to explain your question.

Found this article interesting. Posted in under a new thread due to its length.
