I tried it myself. But you need to register at the website. It is very painless, takes only a minute and it is free. C'mon, let's sms our votes for our Nepali bhai.

ppl. i have created a small page from where you can a little easily send txt to vote for prashant. please follow a small instruction. you just have to login to that sendSMSnow.com. i have created a login name password. if we cannot use same email passowrd, just go ahead and create one. then, just come back to this page and all you have to do is click "send sms now". everything is prefilled, so that you don't have to type the number and txt all the time.

what i figured out is that, this used the post method, so someone has to enter the information and click a button at some time. i have put all the info in hidden and the method to 'post' then action to the php file that the form needs to go to. once you click "send sms now" the hidden info goes to send.php form where, the info is processed and txt messaged to 52525 in india with prashant as the text message. good luck and enjoy guys.

If all the nepalese in shillong or in north east vote for Prashant also he wont be an indian idol unless he gets votes from the rest of the country,then how come they blame us for the no of votes prashant is receiving.if in any case they vote for Prashant then what is the harm,We have every right to give votes to the one we like n noone can force us not to do it.
Because of all these things happening in NORTH EAST I Seriously want prashant to be the indian idol.Is he not an indian why r people giving him a tag of being a nepali.He is a nepali but an indian nepali n he is fighting for india in the armed force.

i think this thing "sendSMSnow.com" works, because i sent a txt messag to myself (US number), using my way, and i received a message. so, i HOPE this workd for 91-52525 in india as well.
i jus tried it now it worked, it goes thorough HUTCH OF DELHI.....says messege sent!!!!

sendsmsnow.com does not work. It is just dilly-dally. Try smsing on your own cell and see the result.

SMS sent from sendsmsnow.com goes through, but it does also include some promo text so I believe they definitely do not except these feeking txt msg.
I just voted 12 times for Prashant through sendsSMSnow.com from USA. The system says your message has been sent and also I can see in "my sent messages" menu. It seems it's working. If somebody wanna vote for prashant try this # even you are in US. Singapore (79000), UK(83222) but don't use the no. from India, it doesn't work..
I think the votes from other countries NOT listed by Sony will be rejected by their computer system. Why would they mention the countries if the whole world is allowed to vote ?? If you guys sending free SMS then there is no harm trying but I am quite sure they are just NOT counted.
