Due to a delay in travel arrangement of late Hemank’s parents, we have postponed the viewing at this time. We will keep you updated regarding the date and time once we have a confirmation of their travel arrangement. Mr. Jagat Nath Karki and Mrs. Jayanti Karki along with their only daughter will be traveling to the United States as soon as their visas are finalized by the US embassy in Nepal.

On behalf of late Hemank’s family, BANA would like to say “thank you” to all of you for your heart-felt support in this difficult time. We have received tremendous support from Nepalese living all over the United States.

A Message of condolence from BANA

Dear All

It is with extreme sadness that we bring the news of a loss of a Nepali student in Baltimore City. Himank Karki, an 18-year-old Nepali student of Baltimore City Community College was slained around 2 AM while working at a gas station around the Mondawmin Mall area on August 27, Monday. Himank Karki was from Biratnagar in Nepal and his parents have been notified of the sad incident. Members of BANA and HURON met today at the site of the incident and have contacted the Hospital as well as the Baltimore City Police Department to get more information. We will update all of you as more information becomes available to us.

At this time of sorrow and loss, we pray to almighty god to bring comfort to the family and friends of Himank. He will in be in our thoughts and prayers and will be dearly missed.
