When I try to log in to my gmail account, all I have to do is type in the first letter of my sign in ID. Everything else is automatically filled (even the password). This is great if I were the only user of this computer. It is my work computer and what if somebody at my work with a gmail account, having same first letter of sign in ID, try to log in and get access of all my emails. I have so many emails in which I have written bad things about my coworkers and bosses. I will probably be fired if they find that out. Please help me how to get rid of this auto fill thing.

Tori, most likely the browser you are using has your password saved. If you are using Firefox, then just get into Internet options and within security, click on saved passwords. Delete gmail.com from the list. I hope that helped. If you are using IE, then I believe the steps will pretty much be similar. NC

JUST GO TO THE INTERNET OPTION THEN TO CONTEN TAND THEN TO AUTO COMPLETE. THEN JUST CLEAR PASSWORD / FORMS. ALL SAVED DATA EVEN SEARCH ENGINE TYPO DELETED.....................CHEERS

TorkikoFUl, Can't you simply Change the password? Next time someone tries to logon to your account, it will prompt "id or password is incorrect".

.And next time, when browser prompts to save your username/password click NO.
Get rid of habbit of hitting ENTER key or Clicking YES button.
First read what it is asking for.

August, FYI i tried changing the password too. It wasn't helping me at all. I got it fixed though. Thank you. Prakash, you're right. I don't read the dialouge box and just hit enter. I should really be careful. Thank you guys. I really appreciate it.
