A person came to USA on F1 Visa, But at the Port of entry, they wrote J1 on I-20. Now that person's OPT is denied because of the two status(F1 on Visa and J1 on the I-20). That person is already graduated from college. So what the person should do to correct this? College has said they cannot do anything on this matter. Please Help with good and legible answers. Thank You

I think you should do none of the above and hire a good Immigration Lawyer. Because, if you go to Nepal the embassy will say 'it's not our fault, we gave you F1 visa, you should have looked carefully when you get the stampped at Port of Entry. Just get a good lawyer (do lots of research to find one) and fight. G'luck!

just do one thing... Keep your I-20 in Suitcase, and go to International office, and ask for a new I -20 then go and Apply for EAD OPT via your new I-20... this USCIS is messed up bro.. so find a way to clain your right.. by Huk or by cruk

Is there any one who can suggest at this situation, i am also having same kind of problem. I have F1-Visa, but J-1 in I-20 and I-94. I already graduated and my opt get denied because of having J-1 in I-20 and I-94. I spoke with the director of office of international students when I got in and i was told that there will no be any problem if you have F1 in Visa and J1 in I-20,I-94. And again i reminded him while i was filing my OPT again I was told it is not a problem. Now when my OPT get denied he says he can not do any thing and find a immigration attorney. I do not have sufficient idea how to deal at this situation. So please suggest me.
