hi i am planning to go to nepal for dashai. I have a green card and i dont know what documents i need to show at the airport ( or what kind of visa or whatever i need) when leaving usa ,entering nepal and when leaving nepal and entering usa.
please help.
No visa required to go to nepal on your greencard, Please carry your valid Nepali passport and your valid Greencard and a credit card ( just for a little shopping at Doha) you are good to go. When coming bak don't bother going to US embassy. Just hop in the plane and come back to land of oppertunity.

One thing you need to be careful after landing in nepal and before leaving nepal airport. Watch those khussiya working at the airport asking fr dollars as " CHIYA KHANI PAISA PAUNA " bhanera. Flip your middle finger at them

ahaha Mike Bibby is correct. those corrupt busiya kukur working at the airport would ask for $$$$.Mother forkers corrupted busiya kukur asked me for $$$$ whenever i return home. when i went to nepal first time in 1997, those busiya kukur asked me for $$$ by saying " CHIYA KHANI PAISA PAUNA " hajur.
then again when i went to nepal in 2002.
then my third and final time in 2003.
Even at Cargo department, it's the same deal. you don't show them the cash, they would make your live miserable.
Moreover my nepali language is so poor that they took advantage of me by asking for more $$$ by saying i have to pay for this and that taxes.
Like Mike said, Flip your middle fingers at them. Don't forget to take their names too.
If i go home again this time i would take the names of the busiya kukur and even take their pictures. Then i would wait for them at the gates of the airport with my nepali friends and tok nay salay gauda haru lai. you should do the same SUM.

kukur mother forkers would be earning a lot of commission. Even the busiya kukur boss would be at the gate waiting for lahures so that he can get as much as commission as possible.
this is soooooooooo true. airport officials in TIA is one of the most corrupted people in the whole world together with nepal police and nepal ministers.

Sum, you must have received your green card through lottery. Otherwise, that was the dummest question I've seen in Sajha so far -"I have a green card, but I don't know what visa I need to enter the USA?"

DON'T FORGET TO POST THE MOTHER FORKERS BUSIYA KUKUR PHOTOS HERE IN SAJHA SO THAT ANYONE RETURNING TO NEPAL CAN SEE THIS BUSIYA KUKUR BEFORE HAND AND ALSO WE CAN MAKE A COMPLAINT OR DO SOSMETHING ABOUT THIS.

Let me tell you one thing dude. NOT ALL nepali came to US through Lottery are Dummies. I proudly say that I came to US on DV lottery and I will gurantee that Iam NOT one of those kind you stated earlier. So pleaseeeeeeeeeeee think twice before you speak.
