my gf is an illegal immigrant and I am an international student with f1 visa. We are thinking of getting married. Will that improve her status ? Will she be able to travel freely and enjoy life?

Things are though these days...Forget about f1 brother...even ur a us citizen, she has to go back and apply from home country to get the status once you loose your status...I don't want to demoralize you, but that's the truth...best thing is, wait for guess worker program..which will soon take effect for sure.

Juxtaposition, How can you stay in f-1 status when your girlfriend is illegal immigrant? Shame on you!You should quit going to school and lose your F-1 status too. That way both of you will be illegal and live happily everafter!!!

have patience... where there is a will there is a will... don't khaying harees.... i 've seen lots of cases like that.. even people who got deportation letter and then green cards afterwards.. this is American.. land of the opportunity.. gotta love this country...

Haresh nakhanu, i think get married and have child/ren is the only option for you so that you can claim residency on behalf of you child/ren. Good luck! Just a thought give a shot, other options are too expensive and risky. One more thing get her at least an F1 visa by admitting her to a school, possible a language institution they are quite cheap. There are couple of these in CA like San Francisco. Give a try. Good luck again.

Solution: Let her hang out with American Guyz.... Than, if ur gf is really hot, someone will marry her.... than, she'll have GC..... hence, solved! but...i think u will have 2 children as products...so adopt them as well!
