PayPal Shopping Cart HTML Code help
Ok, I know we have some very good nepali tech experts here in sajha. And I would like some help from them if they don't mind.
I have some items I am trying to sell on my website. I have a PayPal merchant account, so I will be using their shopping cart/view cart/buy now buttons, hopefully.
But my products are one of a kind products, like paintings.
So when I have a customer buy a product, I would like to have either the PayPal button be disabled for that product so that another customer cannot buy it again (since I only have one piece of the product), or even better have the paypal button replaced by a button called "Sold Out".
Moreover, instead of making each payment for each item, if possible, it would be better if I could have add to cart button, and then pay for the set of different items.
I have the HTML code for the buttons generated by PayPal. I just done know what changed or what addition I need to make there.
Any help would be appreciated.
For some one who knows HTML or already has a website to sell on line, this should not be too hard, I think. But I am not sure.
Thank You again.
regarding your first question simply make some programming task in one page and set it up in paypal as a page for successful payment [If your r expert in programming].
Second There is such Add a Cart feature for in paypal. have look around their tutorials.
Thank you for your reply.
I am not an expert in programming.
I was wondering if I could add some HTML lines in the "button code" provided by PayPal. I don't know what codes and exactly where to add them to meet my specifications.
Looking forward to more replies.
Thank You.
my paypal was twice banned as being not verified. hehe ani lost some $$ stuff around 120 so dherai bho paypal nahereko.
anyway paypal ma euta option hunchha jaha bata hamele within website ko page define garna sakinchha jun payment success bhayo bhane paypal le redirect garchha. And I am sure teha bata value haru pani GET or POST method bata transfer hunchha hola so you ahve to do some programming with Database stuffs.
If your website is static (ie. no programming/database involved), it is not possible. The easy way to doing that is just remove the item manually yourself or replace the paypal code by sold out yourself. I do not mean to discourage you but it is only going to be a coincident that two people are trying to buy same stuff at same time. If you want that to be done automatically, you need to use online shopping cart system. Hope that helps...
if you really need that you should either have to do databse integration or use third party shopping cart. Of course It's not possible having such things on Static page. Hope it helps.
