ईतिहास सधैं जित्नेहरुको लेखिन्छ र हामीलाई आज तिनै ईतिहास पढाए ।
म सानो छंदा मलाई तेही ईतिहास पढाईयो र त्यसैलाई सत्य ठाँने । भागेर गएको राजा ले प्रजातन्त्र कसरि एक् मुठि कागज् मा ल्याए, त्यतिबेलाको बाल् शुलभ मस्तिष्कले प्रश्न गर्न सकेन। नेपालि कांग्रेसको शसश्त्र बिद्रोह र मुक्ति सेनाको नामो निशान थिएन। भगुवा राजा लाई प्रजातन्त्रको प्रतीक् मान्यौं।
आधुनिक नेपालकै बिषयमा बिद्यावारिधि गरेका इतिहासबिद् डा त्री-रत्न मानन्धर् का अनुसार् पृथ्बी नारायण् शाह लाई महान् भन्न नमिल्नी थुप्रै कारणहरु छन्। मैले आइ एस्सी पढ्दा त्रीभुवन् बिश्व बिद्यालयबाट् प्रकाशित् नेपाल् परिचय नामक् पुस्तकमा बूंदागतरुपमा उनको बारेमा हामीले नपढेका काला करतुत् हरु लेखिएका छन्।
१- उनिएए सन्काहा राजा थिए।मकवानपुर्को सेन बंशी ससुराली जाँदा,आफ्नै सालालैइ जुत्ता लगाएर सलाम गर्यो भनेर त्यहिं छप्काएको घाटना ले पुष्टी गर्दछ ।
२- आफ्नो सामराज्य बिस्तार गर्ने क्रम:मा, उन्ले आफ्न भाइ भातिजहाँरुको खूब दुरुपायोग गरे । फलानो राज्य जितिस् भने तेरै राजा हुन्छ लडाईं गर्न पठाउने अनि जिते पछि तीनाइ भाइ भातिजहाँरुला कोठारिमा जाक्ने थुप्रो उदाहरण छन्।
३- पहिलो पटक नुवाकोट हान्दा उन्का सैनिक ले नराम्रो पराजाय भोग्नु परेको थ्यो । त्यस टोलिका सेनापति(शायद बीर ध्वज हुनुपर्छ) र तीनका छोरा लाई उनले देश निकाला गरी दिए । त बीर ध्वज र तीनका छोरा को बीरता बाट प्रभाबित भएर नुवाकोटे राजाले आफ्नो सेनाको नेतृत्व गर्ने प्रस्ताव राखे। पछि दोस्रो पटक् हो कि तेस्रो पटक् गोर्खा सेनाले आक्रमण गर्नु अगाडि, उनले तिमी मेरै सेनापति हौ, किला छोडि देउ भनेर सन्देश् पठाए। त्यस्को जवाफमा बीर् ध्वजले मैले अहिले जस्को नून् खाएको छु, तेसकि सोझो गर्छु, किल्ला छोड्न मेरो ख्सेतृय धर्मले दिदैन भनेर लेखे। नुवाकोत् हार्यो र बीर् ध्वज् लाई युग्ध बन्दी बनाइयो। पृथ्बी नरायन शाह् ले बीर् ध्वजलाई जिउंदै छाल काढेर मारे। जिउदै छाला काढ्ने जस्ता अति अमानबिय कार्य गर्ने राजालाई महान् भन्न सकिन्न।
४- कीर्तिपुर् को घट्ना त धेरैले पढेको सुनेको कुरा हो, यहा उल्लेख गरि रहनु नपर्ला।
मित्रहरु, मैले २३ बर्षाघि पढेको सामाग्री सम्झे जति लेखेको हुं। अरु पनि थुप्रा त्यस्ता नीच काम् कुरो लेखिएको छ त्यस्मा, मौका मिले पढ्नु होला। हामीलाई झुठ्ठा इतिहास् पधैएको थ्यो र आज् पनि धेरै जना तिनै मुशल्मान् का सन्ततिहरुलाई, हिन्दु राजा भनेर स्तुती गाइरहेकाछौं।

नेपाल जी, ठीक भन्नु भयो । अहिले ईतिहास को बिबादमा अल्झिनु भन्दा पनि संबेदन्शील बिषय राष्ट्र को अस्मिता को बिषय छ ।
कसरी जातिय सदभाव खल्बलिएको छ, अखण्डता धरापमा छ । स्वतन्त्रता को नाम मा अस्मितालाई प्रहार गर्नेहरु लाई समर्थन गरि रहेकाछन्।
त्यसैले पुन: एकपटक् यो धागो लाई यहिँ बिश्रान्ति दिएर् देशमा बलीरहेको आगो निभाउने चेष्टा गरौं, दोषि डाका एक् एक् को असली चेहरा सार्बजनिक गरौं। अस्तु!

History tell us who are authentic Nepali and who are immigrant foreigners?
History tells us who are patriotic and nationalist and who are thief, robber, corrupt and criminals?
History tells us which way is good way to go and which way is bad?
History teaches us what we did mistake and what we must do now?
History tells us truth and reality, what was the root cause that Nepali democracy failed 4 times in 6 decades?

I agree that .... 90 % False and disapear historical fact records, 10% only fact in History book of Nepal.
These are the wronf things that our HISTORY BOOK taught is while we were in school.
- Pritivi Narayan Shah never dreamed about big united NEPAL. He was only in mood to capture 3-4 surrounding country of GURKHA at that time.
- After pritivi Narayan Shah died, some people in palace had a vision of big Nepal.but not Pritivi Narayan Shah.
- Nepal did not fought bravely with East India company as History books tells us. That was a big defeat for NEpal. At that time, British were in war with France, so they needed man power and money and resources to fight against France which were trying to invade homeland of Britain. SO they send orders to their general world wide to ceasefire all the war and send the resources back to Britain to fight against French. On the other side, France sold Half America including Luisiana to USA in 10 million dollars so that they can user that money to fight against Britain.
That resulted to SUGAULI SANDHI. Other wise British might have came to kathmandu and make Nepal part of their colony.

BUT ITS A FACT THAT NEPALESE HISTORY BOOK HAS TAUGHT US WRONG ABOUT OUR HISTORY AND IT SHOULD BE REWRITTEN...............

इतिहाँसका मूर्दाहरू खोतलेर , भावनाका क्रोधहरूसंग , आह्रिस र अवोधहरूसंग र वर्तमानमा हिसबकिताब माग्नेहरू संग बहस गरी साद्य छैन । यहाँ त केवल एउटा भीड बटु्ल्ने र उन्मादी नशामा मैमत्त बनेको अनि आरोप र कार्वाहीको ऐलान मात्र क्रान्ति बनेको छ।

Nepali government, Rana and Shah must not published and force to read FLASE history of Nepal in schools, colleges and Universities.
Now even whoever did Master and Doctorial high level degree from Nepali Universities has false certificate, diploma and degree in their hand. Now what they do? Throw their degrees and certificate and go back to beginning - dig and learn TRUE NEPALI HISTORY?
Nepali Educational history book does not have AUTHENTIC AND TRUE NEPALI HISTORY.
It is deadly serious problem, if you claim that you are educated and intellectual person.

i do not know about all the things that you guys are writing about the nepal history .. but i truly believe our history books are contaminated and .. Shah kings and rana anarchy is the main reason for current nepal in nowhere situation .. Ranas were the worst mutha###ckers .. who abolished the academic gap .. that created the generations gap in order to compete with the world .. now here we are wayyyyyyyyy behind everybody ass..

i will tell u the history ... i would be lot prouder if british would have taken nepal and created some kind of colony ... just look at what they left ..railways.. and many more .. even though they took lots of golds and all .. but they made some good things and left .. and look at GP koiralas .. and other .. mantrys.. gyane .. all they know is to take .. and still want to take some more ..

अहिले को नेपाली ईतिहास सबै नेपाली को लागि स्विकार्य छैन भन्ने कुरा त प्रस्ट नै छ। यसमा के त्रुटी छ भन्ने कुरा त अनुसन्धानकर्ता को काम भयो। तर सबैको पहुच् बिना को अनुसन्धान फेरी तेइ पहिला को जस्तो ईतिहास हुन्जान्छ, किन कि पहिला पहिला अनुसन्धान मा अरु जातजाती को पहुच नै थिएन। अनी कहाँ बाट दोस्रो धार को कुरा अाओस त! अर्थसास्त्र मा मोनोपोलि भन्या जस्तै जे लेखेपनि पत्याउनु पर्ने बाध्यता त अब सायद हुन्न होला।
आफ्नो बारेमा सबै भन्दा बढि ज्ञान हुने आफैलाइ हो। तर पनि, कति कुरा हरुमा आफैलाइ पनि थाहा हुन्छ कि आफुले आफैलाइ जानि जानि झुठो कुरालाइ सत्य सरि अँगालेका हुन्छौं। भने, पुरा देशको इतिहाँस किन नबांगिएको होस।
उदेक लाग्छ मलाइ त, यस्तो अकाट्य कुरा मा पनि बहस गरेको देखेर ।
