Does anybody know if JDK can be installed offline? I have to install it to the computer that doesn't have the Internet; any way to do it? :-s
go to java.sun.com and order CD. (O:
or burn CD with the *.bin distribution and install in your local machine
Slackdemic..u might be able to get the CD from ur uni..check it out with ur department office.
if u got net access..u can choose offline installation and save that file in ur cd or flash drive..think that might work?
ur lookin for the
JDK 5.0 Update 9 arent u?
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
good luck there.
Well, Anonymous, JDK 5.0 Update 9 or any other SE will also do. The online/offline version of installing is basically the same; I haven't tried it, but I think I know for sure that you can't download it to portable device like USB. It would be like trying to download Messenger in a USB drive.
:)
