should we watch Hindi movies,songs or not
I think it is not better to watch Hindi movies or listen hindi songs. Look--do the indians watch nepali movies, listen songs, No never. They never respect the nepali heroes and actresses. If hindi film hero comes to Nepal, he is given red carpet welcome, on the other hand, Nepali heroes are neglected in Indian soil. Why? Just because nepal is a small country, poor country, weak country. so lets clap our hand to promote Nepali movies so that we can be proud of our culture. What do you say guys?

Kai na bha ko jatra hadi gaun ma bhaneko yehi nai ho. Aba afno afno khusi ho ni kun movie herne bhanera, nepali bhandai ma Nepali matra hernu parhca bhanne huncha ra. Why we care if indian watch nepali movie or not, most of them dont undersatnd hindi. So, if u wanna watch it then watch if not then not watch it why you need to waste time saying others what is good or bad, decide urself. And who the hell in the world told u that they dont watch nepali saying we are poor, weak. Afai story banayera aru lai k uksaunu??? If u dont watch it then simpy close ur eyes. Well abt me, I am also not fan of hindi movies neither nepali.

Well done Upendraman,--do you thinkg yourself patriotic? Do you know the meaning of patriotism? How the indian leaders or ambassodors, or usa envoys, are pointing fingers on us as if we r their slave? why? By saying just Nepali, or loving nepali, or wearing Dhaka topi, you cant lie yourself saying I am patriotic. Nation where citizens dont wear the clothes made by nation itself(made in nepal), nation where citizens dont respect the mother language, where the people are made goat by the international orgs, where the people are shy of watching Nepali movies or simply desist nepali movies, songs--can never be called fully sovereign, independent, successful nation, Okay, Mind it. Boy.
Just staying in USA, washing dishes of white people, you will not be called civilized. patriotism should come from inward, from one's own personal experience. I hate materialistic,self centered, opportunist people like you--for whom money is everthing other than integrity.
I am not against for any movies, songs or any languages. I feel a great exploitation of Hindi movies and songs. I do not mean to say 'not to listen'. They are great and glamourious !
I would request those who are addicted to Hindi moves and songs. Do an experiement, Do not listen any Hindi songs and Hindi Movies at least a year or two. Then, see the differences. If you feel you have done a right decision then continue it, if not keep on ....
If you ask me, yes, I WAS ADDICTIED Hindi movies and songs, now thanks god, I have done a good decision.
There is no quality in the nepali film, Bollywood has progressed so much that critics says it will be bigger then hollywood in near future, You will be bored after 20 min. while watching Nepali film, I watch film to pass my time, if the film is that boring, I have got no choice to watch either an English or Hindi film. Nepali film maker has to learn a lot from Indian Film maker. They must be at least 200 yrs behind. So I think you should get a decent indian director to make a nepali film then probably people will like it.
Tulshi Ghimire use to make some good films but he was never appreciated in nepali film festival and other ceremonies saying he is Indian (darjeeling). So we got no hope of watching a 3 hrs long Nepali film without getting bored.

I don't understand why is it wrong watching Indian movies. Well some Indian movies where they offend Nepal, I do not recommend watching. Matyangro, Indian movies is watched all over the world its not just in Nepal. Do you know that population wise there are more Indian Movies viewers than Hollywood movies? So stop making these stupid comments. In Pakistan they hate India and every thing about Indians however they love their movies though. I remember when I was in school most International kid’s loved Indian movies. There were some guys from Morocco and Nigeria and even they didn't understand Hindi they loved the movie. They said they put caption and watch it.
Its upto you all but I don't want to spent 3 hrs of my life watching hindi movies, Its just waste of time plus money and at the end of the movie "dhoti ko film nepali ko paisa chilim". Its my opinion and don't get smart on my life

Matyangro, how old r u, dude? Stop wasting people time by talking nonsense. None of the things you have said makes absolutely any sense. What are you trying to say? What patriotisim has to do with washing dishes or being civilized? What patriotism has to do with watching hindi movies or speaking English? You better not be going to school in USA at least. Go back to Nepal and get into politics. I think you are qualified enough to talk rubbish, nonsense and garbage without even knowing what you are trying to express. Get a life!!!!
It is interesting to note the transformation of hollywood and bollywood in recent times.
While hollywood has been investing in longer movies that reiterates the same boring theme, bollywood is making shorter, sensitive and society pertinent movies that hits the chord at the right note. of course, if you decide to stay away from mainstream movies...for instance, Water, and who'd have thought john ibrahim and lisa ray could actually act!
even with the rang de bastani " rakesh om prakash teamed with aamir khan with such a educational and joshila movie" which has encourage youth in india to take matter in hand and which we did as well in nepal for ganatantra. Well i am not saying rang de basanti inspired the nepali janta for andolan...well as oys chill said there is so many good moives ke like i am waiting for aiswarya mistress of the spice " something like that" made by kalpana lajmi i guess...seen a promo dyaam good
Watch what you like. To me Bollywood is a waste of time so I stay away from it.
of course i watch it if i have time and i like listening to hindi music.
what's wrong with watching and listening to hindi.
