What do you say to the man who grandly offers to pay rent for having occupied your heart and space in your home? Smile, and walk away; your heart was never to-let! That was the irony of love! But what of marriage? A friend called me because her marriage, unbeknownst to her had fallen apart. Unbeknownst, because she did not know, until she was served divorce papers by the man she cooked for, looked after, slept with and loved... or perhaps, I got the sequence wrong, can't say. The papers came all neatly packaged in a brown envelope and addressed to her. She had married a widower of three children and whose youngest was one year old. Now after 10 years of marriage and another child together, her beloved husband decided the children no longer needed a mother. What do you say to a man who decides his wife of 10 yrs was only a glorified baby sitter? I said, drag him through court... for having used all of her services and then more! Atleast, the little one would received what is rightfully hers. Do pay offs make it better or demean what was to someone, a sacred thread? Do pay offs make it easier to salve one's conscience or instrumental in sustaining the definition of justice? I suppose the equation of love and marriage changes as the term "mutually beneficial" reaches the tipping point to favor only one party at which point the" favored" realizes he/she nolonger needs the other, hence the payoff. As Tina Turner sang soulfully, "What's love got to do with it?!" Just another morbid topic for a dreary spring day!

Well Well............. Speculation upon speculation............ this is my side, Well this dude married this chick in nepal, who wanted to come to america desperately, you know the type. Ah!! well her parents show her the guy, He being an Neprican( I think that is what he is) tells her about his situation, about kids and everything. This girl agrees to marry him, they come to america, he being a little older than her and she being young, they kindda don't have a good conversatation, sex is good in the begining, than gradually it starts to suck. The girl starts to hate her husband and threatens to leave him and go back to nepal. He begs her not to leave, he thinkingt maybe if I get her pregnant she will stay with him and he gets her pregnant. She wanting to make him angry smokes and drinks while she is pregnant. She is on the internet talking to young guys, having cybersex and phone sex and what not. The baby is born but more problems arises, she only takes care of her baby and not her step kids, she starts having an affair when the husband is gone to work, she is all sexed up all day and when the man comes home she doesn't have anything to give to him. He gets tired of her act and decides to find some action for his jackson outside of the house and he finds one too. (lucky basterd). The wife finds out and haggles him, and he comes out straight and says if you can have sex in the house with another man when I am not home in front of the kids, I can too. Atleast I am not doing in the house. Well to cut the story short, he is tired of her bitchy ass and decides to dump her and show her the highway. She than comes to talk to her friend from nepal who happens to be in america. Her friend who happens to be a single mom gives her advice to get a good laywer and get his money. Ah!! ha!! this where they both miss the target. The husband has made a secret voyuer video of his wife getting gangbanged by some guy's (3 to be precise) "what a hoe". He shows the tape at the court, The judges decision is ... he grants the man the youngest childs coustody because he has a job and he is able to provide for her. He tells the woman to pack her bags and go back to nepal because she is nothing but a 2bit hoe...... The conclusion of this story is, woman who marries a man for his money and greencard gets nothing but get deported. p.s.......this is just fiction and anybody or anyones story resembles this I am sorry, it is all made up reading all the threads up and above.

If the adminstrator had some wisdom, he/she would have rather omitted Gorkhali's story than scraping laughing budhha's comment. Sometimes adminstrators fail to understand the real problem and create a mayhem by taking action against the solution rather than the problem. Being adminstrator doesn't always mean that they do the right thing. Here, he/she has failed badly. Anyways, I am not so lowly as you Gorkhaliji. Many thanks for your indignant remark. In fact, your story in itself is defamatory against the thread starter. People with a little bit of conscience can understand the ill-intentions of your tailor made story. Unfortunately, the adminstrator didn't.

dude it was not intended for the thread starter, it is just a freaking story get it... people are saying all kinds of stuff about who?what?where? and how??? I just wrote a story, what the hell???? I wasn't lambashing anyone, it was pure fiction, which came up after reading the thread top to bottom and as I have seen many fellow nepali guys going to nepal and getting married to real young chicks and bringing them here.Guy 40 with a half million dollar house in the subs, has kids from former wife, goes to nepal, marries a chick who is bout' half his age, if you have lived in this country a long time you will find many stories like this, It was just a story. and I don't think you get my story, if someone has the guts to post a real life situation here than it is his/her fault for bringing out in the public to be probed and strobed, diced and sliced by everyone. I have not pointed a finger at anyone, nor named anyone, my first line and last line says it all............... a freaking story kid

Aah I see the admin deleted my post to Gokhali X. Dude Gorkhali you went crying to San, when you go around Sajha runnin' your mouth like a bacteria infested dysentery! Since you wrote your story with such relish, Let me rephrase what I wrote: "So sorry to hear about your parents Gorkhali, did you ever find out which one of them is yourfather?" Oops, I forgot to add "In jest!" It's just a question man, don't take offence dude Gorkhali! You brave Gorkhali X, forever ready to flash your di*k @ anyone and everyone.

Suppose the women (/wife) rejects the divorce papers, then what happens? I remember a case in Israel, the husband was jailed for 27 years or more for just rejecting to divorce his wife. Accroding to Jews religion, if husband does not volunterily release his wife, the marriage can not end up as a divorce. What happens in Nepal or US, if women rejects the divorce? I am sure the husband, who has affair with other women, will suffer a lot, because he might be hurrying to marry the other girl? If the woman goes back to Nepal without signing on the divorce and stays there for long time? I am sure the husband will crawl, because the other woman will ask him to speed up the divorce... this what happens.... GP

Testdirector, Timile galti bujyou. "' yeuta timi chau antibiotic khuwauda dukha manne, ...............deport garne dhamki dine." ................ Maile yo bhannu ko karan... 'Aka', The reason why I stated this fact is, Sitara mentioned earlier that that husband is threatning to deport that woman & theri child. And by comparing him and you, who is pained to see his child for a dose of antibiotic, I wanted to make you see what would happen to that little girl? Agreed we might not have the story from both side but we do not have to Sherlock Holmes to know that the child's future hings in the balance here. I really hope your kid does well. Nepal ma ta bacha haru lai sakesamma dindaina kyara antibiotic. Yaha ko ta sabai ausadi kada cha. Good luck. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "& my favorite is: Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition. ~Timothy Leary Just like Leary said, we are not equal to men, we r far superior to them. --?" Yeah so superior that people who believe in this have to shout time and again to actually believe themselves." Alik badi khokcha manche haru.

Sheesh! What a bait-and-switch...the thread title makes it seem like it's all about thread originator, not her friend. (Maybe it is?) I especially hope the kids come out OK, despite the messy situation. And the wife, who shared details of her private life with perhaps the biggest gossip in sajhaland....Then again, maybe the soon-to-be ex-wife used the gossip (sub?)consciously to air her dirty laundry and curry favor/sympathy/empathy with her cause. What will it gain the soon-to-be ex-husband to have his proxy dish his dirt in here in a tit-for-tat?? Anyhow, this matter is a family affair to be dealt with privately--NOT fodder for the vultures who cannot bring themselves to mind their own beeswax. That being said, I'll butt out with the old saying,"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

I see, I somehow missed that posting; got really carried away. Now I understand. I'd have tried to become Sherlock Holmes again, but as Sitara says the lady has already a good lawyer. Sahrai sojhi keti pari ki kya ho? Thanks for your wishes for my son. He recovered himself without medicine. Ma ghara pugda ta mero chottu khelna po auncha! Satto gayo hola.

First of all, the family is not Nepali and my friend (who is not very fluent in English) has very little/or no money. Hence, why I posted the dilemma here. With thanks to many of your inputs, especially, Seusi Dai who suggested enlisting a women's organization's help. She has now someone(a social worker) who speaks her language and a good attorney who has worked with such situations before. Thanks again!
