I had my asylum denied in 2014. Now I have an employment-based I-485 petition filed. Will there be any impact from the denied asylum to the current green card process?
I would really appreciate feedbacks if someone had experienced this situation before.

@bigT. One of my very close friend went through a similar process few years back. When your asylum was denied, were you put on the removal process? If ‘No’, I believe you might be good. But If ‘Yes’ the jurisdiction still lies with the immigration court that you filed your asylum. The I-485 filed in USCIS will be denied since they don’t have jurisdiction over the case.

@Bikram_Gurung. I was in F1 OPT then and kept maintaining status. I am on H1-B now and filed GC through my employer. I was never put in the removal process. Does that mean I won't have any issues? Will any questions be asked in the GC interview about the previous asylum case?

I don't see any issue here since you had valid status when you filed asylum. Even if they ask asylum questions during GC interview, it shouldn't really matter because government thought you weren't eligible for asylum thus your status was returned back to original state.
