Prachanda is probably eating more "laddus". The Parliament system was supported by Girija and Oli in the constitution. This only proves that the parliament system is a joke in a diverse country like Nepal. It has been dissolved by many leaders again and again. Mahendra in 2017, Girija in 2049, Gyanendra in 2005, Oli in 2020 and again in 2021. And, we know the state of the parliament in India. And, it is worse in Nepal because the Prime Minister can't be seen too friendly with India, and yet they need blessing from India to stay in power. Nepali Prime Ministers are usually found in a "rock and a hard place". The parliament system worked in Britain because the Britain was/is a homogeneous nation for Christians and Anglo Saxon. The politics is finally getting real!

I haven't read the constitution. In my view, Nepal needs directly elected president system desperately. So that the president can appoint qualified people in the appropriate fields in his cabinet. Right now most of the samsads who become ministers have no clue about their field of ministry. It has really become a joke. And, that is also a problem in India for the last 70 years of their practice. You need qualified people to get the job done as simple as that! You may say that minister can hire qualified people to work for him, but he may not follow the best solution adviced by his subordinate because of his ego or political reasons.

Look at the coronavirus pandemic situation- It is being handled by Ishwor Pokharel. He made a mess of it!

People don't like to be told what to do. You don't like it and I don't like it. It is as simple as that. Oli clearly does not like to listen to anyone 😬

The constitution is a mess .. they have everything in written and they make things complicated.. like that धारा ७६ ..

Directly elected or not ... the government controlled by political parties is a mess .. like in USA no individual elected MP is allowed to go beyond party-mandate - & Trump escapes impeachment. It's not only Trump; no president has ever been impeached at all...

It is not only political system, the bureaucratic system is another mess .. no government officer can be given a pink slip....

Thanks. Trump was impeached twice. He just wasn't convicted. Two other presidents were impeached. Nixon resigned before his Senate trial.

House members cross party lines in the US all the time when they vote for a bill. Recently, many Republicans, 35, crossed the party lines for a Capitol riot investigation bill in the house.

I have subscribed to your channels. If I get in mood, maybe I will listen to the constitution. Appreciate your efforts to make video and upload them here for us ! They are educational and some of them are fun.
