I am starting to think the war is going to happen.

1. China wants to show the world that it is a dominant power in the world now. China needs a window to come out. They been closed for so long now.

2. Delhi needs something to galvanize patriotism. There have been many separatists movement, and there is still one going on in the Northeast.

3. There are combined 60 million more men than women in India and China.

Why would the world's most populous and nuclear armed countries go to war for some minor border disputes? The leaders of both the countries are relatively sane people no matter what they say to their rank and file. The only thing that can happen because of an all out war between India and China is devastation. Some minor skirmishes may continue but not a major war.
