Are there any IT sectors besides BA and QA (automated?) that someone that studied Accountancy do? I wish to switch to IT but I really don't know where to start. Plz help!

Qa automatuon needs programming. Sap fico would be relatable. But ppl from English major , business majores etc are doing fine. I know a guy from bio major doing awesome in .net.

Hi ehho2, I've often heard about SAP Fico but how do I get started? any consultancy you know of that will provide training and placement?

I had friends who worked as Tax Analyst/Data Analyst. you might need a basic Sql knowledge and be able to write reports. Do some research on reporting applications like, SAP business objects, Cognos, Hyperion, tableau, Qlik, Power-BI just to name a few.
