My advance parole application based on TPS was approved on NOV 5 and received approval notice on 10th. I haven’t received the original advance parole document(I-512L) yet. So my question here is, can i travel only with the approval notice or do i need the AP it self?
Did anyone went through the same hassle? Plz share your experiences.
Look at the top of the I-797 Notice of Action, approval notice on Nov 10th, you may see,
THIS NOTICE DOES NOT GRANT ANY IMMIGRATION STATUS OR BENEFIT.
AND also you may see somewhere in the approval notice it will say your travel document will be mailed to you separately and will show the validity of the document and any travel conditions.
That means you can't leave US with approval notice and must have I-512L document (your pic on it).
Do they send approval notice and advance parole documents separately? I thought they only send AP documents with a picture in it. I had never received approval notices before.
I only know Travel document (ap) now
what the duck is that approval notice or need an AP mean ??

I don't think approval notice is good for travelling, but not sure about what these actually are since I am yet to get my AP documents. Would you be able to give a timeline of your application?
Uscis received application on April 15 and approved it on November 5.
holy shit thats a long time.
Finally received AP document after 8 months of wait.
wow, that's a long wait! What is the expiration date on your AP and is it for multiple entries?
For multiple entries with expiration date of march 24, 2020.
