same here f1 reinstatement denied followed asylum rejection, seems no hope nowhere. mentally distracted. TPS was a trap, wish i had never applied for tps and maintained f1 status, i would have so many options for adjustment. wasted my decade In US, no money, no degree no future im in heights of my depression. i dont know if i would be able to restart from scratch in Nepal. its not only me, few of my friends are asked to leave country within one month of time, they have other options for third country and they have savings for that, i have neither of them nor i have courage to fight back again

Sugareeka , life gives opportunity till the day you die . Seriously having gc or citizenship does not make life easier although it does feel like it is everything when you don't have it. Stay positive, stay healthy and do your best in any situation and you are a warrior and you will win .

Hi, Sugareeka
I have bunch of friends who chose to go back to Nepal despite finishing their degree here in US though they had h1b and options for AOS. They are doing just fine in their respective fields and are not regretting at all for their choices. Just be strong, sometimes life does not go as we plan and going back to Nepal and starting from scratch does not mean failure at all, its a Resilience. GC/Citizenship gives a hope for better future but does not guarantee success and happiness. If you have a positive outlook towards life, you can be happy in any corner of the world.
Best wishes from another fellow nepali woman :)

Have spent 2 decades in the US ,most of my friends and relatives have better career in Nepal who stayed there or chose to go back after degrees from the US. The struggle does not end after gc or citizenship in the us ,you will be exposed to more challenges. If I could go back in time and be where you are right now I would gladly go back to Nepal.

Hi Sugareeka,

I whole heartily support mathi sabai jana ko comment haru. Like Ehoo2 said, If there was a time machine, I would happily go back as well.
I have spent almost 18 yrs in the states, All I have is TPS but I run two successful businesses and employ more than 10 people. I do wish I had a green card though, that would facilitate a lot of things but Since I dont have it, I am not going to cry about it. I can sham marriahe but thats not my thing. My point is you got to strategize.....
Its all about having positive confidence and attitude, which we lack sometimes, but as long as you have the will power, It will come around.

Hanuman1 bro,
I have heard in 9th circuit jurisdiction, mostly CA, Its possible but I dont have anyone telling me they have got it. I am trying to find out. If anyone lives in west coast and knows someone on TPS , please feel free to share your experience.

Denial rate of Asylum cases by Judges in New York is 23% and Baltimore is 64%

And I have seen Nepalese Asylum seekers with TPS status got Asylum cases approved in Baltimore, Maryland.

Did you hire an attorney to represent you, or you went by yourself to court?

There is no harm to write your Judge's name, if possible.

===> are you sure your case was Terminated and not 'Administratively Closed"? If it was Terminated, why did you (your counsel) agree with termination? Was it because your case was so weak that it would have most probably been denied?? If no, then did you appeal termination order?

mero understanding ma ma aba only TPS ma chu ani AP lieyera travel chai garna pauchu jaba samma TPS cha.................
===> Jab takk hay Jaan oops TPS

===> Milchha if you have not been out of status for more than 180 days from the day of your last admission...........if you were paroled in TPS, and if you reside in 6th and 9th circuit, being paroled might constitute admission for the purpose of AOS........ Which implies, your previous unlawful presence will be irrelevant.............I urge you to seek advice from a (or many) competent attorney if you have a sponsoring employer with job that matches your skill set and education (usually jobs requiring at least a Bachelors degree or higher)
