will s386 really be approved?
After such a long time of struggling, my employer agreed to file a green card after certain time. And I hear about s386. Will it really be approved? One problem after another, it's so tough to stay positive.
I hope not. We shall know the answer by the end of Sep 30. So hang in there solti.
It will pass no doubt Indians have waited for a long time , now nepali people will have to wait 10 years and longer
@Santosh_Nepal: One attempt to proceed to vote in Senate was failed last week (Sept. 18). So, where did you find the information that S. 386 will be tried this week? I said this week because Senate will adjourn this Friday and resume on October 15. Look at the calendar below.
https://www.senate.gov/legislative/resources/pdf/2019_calendar.pdf
I think there is 50/50 chance of this bill passing. What they are tying to do is to pass this bill without even voting, as unanimous. Currently it is blocked by one senator. Hopefully some other senators will step up and at least ask for some debate and discussion, which may delay the implementation of the bill. I really fee for indians who wait for some many years but this bill just pass their misery to people from rest other countries. Really a bad solution.
@UnityIsPossible: Same here bro. GC process balla suru bhayo 2019 ma yo bill pass bhayo bhane ta it will ruin all my plans. I think I'll have to look into Canada process.
Eventually pass huncha . Can’t stop it. What can we do?
I think there is still some hope AJ Bro. Some people say if it does not pass this year, there is less chance of it passing next year as it is election year.
I also feel the frustration as a person for indians. But if this bill passes then in IT, after 5 to 10 years there will not be any goras even. Ahile H1B lai ta, they can find loopholes and get to the root bhanepachi after GC, imagine how IT market would be.
Long wait better more Nepali maal for banging 10-15 yrs wait is great
When you have to wait long you will not be able to bring wife or husband from nepal so there is 99 percent of cathing Gonorrhea than no green card anyway

If this bill gets passed it’s game over for Nepalis.... Indians are trying hard to pass this bill, many are sending emails to senator and lots of lobbyists involved.
It’ll be bad for folks from rest of the world , not from the green card perspective itself but also from Job perspective. Indians will take over pretty much every job out there. Right now they’re restricted from applying some jobs cuz most don’t have green card, but imagine what will happen if they all get green card ? It’s going to be tough out there.
I hope it doesn’t pass as that’ll give most of the visas to Indians and one country will benefit whole rest of the world has to wait years for green card.
Indians have a long wait for green card currently coz of the massive exploitation of by lot of consultancies , so that’s what caused the backlog , not anyone else’s fault. 90% of H1Bs are taken by Indians right now.
Now, if they get 90% Green card, Rest of the world will suffer in this country.
Yes Indians deserve it and will definitely pass it game over vukka tourists good luck in Canada
Good for Nepali consultancy. Students will keep coming no matter what, and get screwed for 15 years . Time to open consultancy.
Seriously, Who is this SwamiD? Looks like he loves Indians and hates Nepali. It's not about Race. Indians have most h-1 visas and their spouses can work too. If the h4 work permit is taken away then I am sure they wouldn't like it. It's about being fair with those countries, who haven't been given equal opportunities. One country can't have it all. That's how consultancy companies started. It's just people are looking at one side, one at the bigger picture. I really hope it will not pass. There will be more Indian consultancies with "experiences" and they will bring more people by with those "experiences" and that's also not fair. And this is only some reasons.

This bill will never get approved. Don’t worry much.
