Anyone travelling on Qatar airways Chicago to Kathmandu on Nov 3rd 2019?

Hello all,
Could someone contact me if somebody is traveling on Qatar airways from Chicago to Kathmandu on Nov 3rd 2019?
My parents don't speak English and their flight from Doha to Kathmandu QR0644 got cancelled and now the transit is 11 hours. Qatar airways is offering hotel but they have to get a visa and get out of airport. I am not comfortable of them exiting the airport alone.
If someone on the same flight and also got offered a hotel by Qatar airways do you mind my parents joining along with you.
Also if someone has got a hotel outside of the airport in the past can you share your experiences. I mean how hard is it or if someone will be waiting for you. I heard there will be Nepalis working in the airport so it will not be difficult.
Any sort of feedback is appreciated. Thank you.

Oryx hotel is in airport and dont need visa to go there. also 11 hrs is not too much coz even if they dont want hotel they can stay in a lounge and get free food vouchers. also there are lots of nepali working at the airport so they wont have any problem if they stay in the transit or in the lounge. dont eben bother abt visa and all. Qatar airways will also give them bed to rest inside the airport.
