I filed my application on eb3 category on Jan 2019 . Now on August visa Bulletin its backlogged for Nepal 01JUL16. Do i still get the EAD and AP or have to wait till it gets current.

I filed on EB3 on Dec 2018 too. My priority date is Nov 3rd 2017. Is this going to add delay in my case processing?. If anyone has idea on how these visa bulletin work, could you please share on this thread. Thank you in advance!!

As per my understanding, there is no more employment based visa available for this fiscal year, which will end on September 31st. That means USCIS cannot issue any new green card until then. So, it is highly unlikely USCIS will schedule any more interview before that date and those who have already got there interview scheduled will also have to wait to get there green card issued until next year that is October 1st. And also USCIS will not accept any new I-485 application from aug 1 to sep 31.

You can not apply for EAD or AP until your priority date is current. But ROW EB category most likely will be current in the next fiscal year. Check October Visa bulletin. This has happened before in 2016 and 2017.

@Mr P - Assuming, you have already filed I-765, I-131 along with your I-485 in Jan 2019, you should be getting it soon or should have gotten much sooner. Retrogression should not effect EAD issuance as far as I know, because its only applicable to GC quotas. I have read in other forums that if you feel like its taking longer to get your EAD and it might effect your job then you can reach out to your representative, heard people have gotten EAD within 2 weeks that way.
