Some doubts during PERM Filing
I was hoping to get some suggestion about my current situation.
My company has started GC filing process. It is currently in PERM Phase, prevailing wage and advertisement have been approved.
Now they are about to file the labor certificate. I am in a dilemma since I had a gap year from 2016 - 2017. I was not in any projects but was actively marketing from a consultancy. They helped me to get STEM opt I-20, but I didn't work with them. In 2017, I joined another consultancy and got job from there.
Now the attorney from my current employer are asking if I want to mention them as previous employer or not? Since the name of previous employer is in my I-20. So I was wondering if I should mention their name or not? If I do not mention I am worried that it might be tough during interview phase. So, what should I do?
My concern is that the previous consultancy might not give me experience letter since I never worked with them.
Appreciate your suggestions!
Thanks
No need. I m not mentioning
@AJ Joshi, did your PERM got approved already?
As long as you have enough experience and exp. letters from other employers to meet requirements then its not important to mention the one you don't want to.
@DevilAngel, Thanks. It seems I'll need in my case.
