Speaking of coverage of recent Terrorists attack in Sri Lanka, why not much coverage for this horrendous incident where around 300 people lost their lives. It was on headline for a day. MSM are now talking more about it because some Danish billionaire lost his 3 kids (which is very tragic) but it has been not covered as it should be. Forget about the main stream media in US, why we are not seeing many Nepalese in Facebook and other social media not posting about Pray for Sri Lanka in their posting as they did for France last time? is it just me or everybody think that way? Are we biased against our own continent or region or skin color? Do we just care about western countries? Just a thought.

That's because MSM is too scared to call it what it is exactly i.e. Islamic terrorist. By default, MSM assumes the West and the Christians are to be blamed always and for everything. Everyone else in the world is just nice, innocent human being. Incident like this really don't fit their narrative. That's for the US and western media. As far as the lack of coverage in Nepali media, they don't really do any kind of reporting of their own. They just regurgitate what's already put out there by big media house worldwide. As far as Nepali public showing lack of interest on this incident....well, their sense of global citizenship is too weak to empathize with the suffering of some people from some other country in the globe. Yes, they will share and re-post what's trending (Syria and shit) but that is IT, no initiative from their own. Last but not the least, Sri Lanka govt was to be blamed too by banning social media in the early hours of the incident, should have shown the true color of Islam to the world while the news was still hot.
