A Sioux Falls woman was arrested early Friday after police say she drunkenly drove into two cars, an apartment and a house.

Devi Maya Gurung, 29, was charged with DWI, reckless driving and no insurance, police spokesman Sam Clemens said.

Police say Gurung was driving a 2006 Mercury Mariner east on East First Street near Omaha Avenue when she went through an intersection and into an apartment parking lot in the 800 block of North Omaha Avenue, hitting two parked cars before crashing into the front door of the apartment building.

After hitting the apartment building, Gurung backed up, hitting the north side of a nearby house, Clemens said.

Altogether, the damage to all three cars, the apartment and the home totaled approximately $48,000, according to police estimates.

Gurung's blood-alcohol content was measured at 0.184, Clemens said, more than twice the legal limit.
