TPS TO BE EXTENDED UNTIL DECEMBER 24, 2019
IT IS GONNA BE EXTENDED FOR 18 MONTHS. i dont want to name the source, but it is what gonna be decided on april 24. mark my word!

if they don't announce by today , it will get automatically extended for six months as in the case of hondorus
if that happens, then does it gonna expire after 6 months or is it going to extend again
if it is not decided today, it will be decided by DHS only after 6 months whether to cancel or extend, if canceled, they can give grace periods of 6, 12, 18 months

What will happen to EAD then if they do not decide it today?

all is needed is lobbied by nepal govt. aka embassy here. Gathering in liberal cities with ngo nepali smaj , joining ridiculous "adhikar" bullshit, calling democrat senators, signing crappy change.org or even someone suggesting here - bullying dhs secretory on twitter are all useless and uneducated bad ideas only serves own self fulfilling purpose.
Here looks like our corrupt Govt don't want itself TPS when remittance is only major source of income LOL LOL What the f they are thinking ?? Right or wrong any argument , dollar money coming nepal is good for any stable govt. and they should have lobbied. Nepal Embassy only represent party cadre of corrupt parties in nepal , they suck and they are rude assholes too when they are serving countrymen.

But do you really think that lobbying would have helped? Trump Administration is trying to end the TPS program. Like look at all the countries whose TPS was cancelled the only reason they did not announce it yesterday was to avoid the "earthquake anniversary" (how nice of them!!!!) but it will probably be terminated.

Yes would have helped since DHS may nor have true pictures of progression only Nepal govt. can provide what is happening in ground. We are not like Syria where all the journalist are gathered and have info 24/7.

While it is correct that the policy of the govt is to stop the TPS or as such programs. The present dhs secretary also has significant knowledge on the reconstruction effort as her earlier organization was directly involved in such works (see the report; google it). The US govt would have cancelled giving 1.5 years delay or somekind of relief work for the student presently in the country had enough lobbying been done by the Nepal govt or embassy.

true it helps but consider this is not only in her mind 24 hrs.and also When Nepal govt. don't want it why do she has to work hard? tell me . think this way ... she has all good info and intention to give tps but what are the main points to backup that decision? own instinct ? all right that's may work but don't think this is a popular among base, she needs some kinda backup and our Govt. has failed to help!! where she would go or why bothered even ?
