Neither Amazon nor USPS has disclosed any details of the deal. It is almost impossible to tell which side is losing money (or not).

When tweets come out of 45's tiny little hands, rest assured, his claims will be as good as "Mexico will pay for the wall."

One thing which I never understood is how exactly USPS is getting destroyed by amazon. It's not amazon shipping product for free. They are paying for every goddamn stamp. USPS was destroyed by it's pathetic retirement plan and pension plan. Google it you will find many many answers.

Amazon is destroying Trump's business. Number of empty retail spaces are highest in 6 years...Which means, Trump Tower is less valuable for renters since they can choose among many empty spaces...May be that is why he's angry at Amazon...

A report from Reis, Inc., said the vacancy rate at regional malls increased only minimally — to 8.4% from 8.3% in Q4 2017 — but that the 435,000 sq. ft. of net absorption was the lowest for any quarter in more than five years.

This came despite the fact that the completion of 712,000 sq. ft. of new shopping center space fell well below current trends. The quarterly average for new construction in 2017 was 3.1 million sq. ft.

Neighborhood and community shopping centers in 41 of the 77 metropolitan areas surveyed by Reis also saw an uptick in vacancies during the 12 months ending on March 31.

The tweets --

I am right about Amazon costing the United States Post Office massive amounts of money for being their Delivery Boy. Amazon should pay these costs (plus) and not have them bourne by the American Taxpayer. Many billions of dollars. P.O. leaders don’t have a clue (or do they?)!

Only fools, or worse, are saying that our money losing Post Office makes money with Amazon. THEY LOSE A FORTUNE, and this will be changed. Also, our fully tax paying retailers are closing stores all over the country...not a level playing field!

Malls were phenomenon of 1960s to about early 2000s and they served their purpose very well for about 4 decades. They were in a long term and steady decline ever since as technology and attitudes of consumers changed. This long term decline is much wider and deeper than just an American thing.

"The ripple effects of the retail apocalypse that swept across the U.S. after the financial collapse of 2008 continue to emanate through Canada." - https://www.thestar.com/business/2017/05/06/how-neighbourhood-malls-are-struggling-to-survive.html

45 probably has no clue that USPS is one of those few government agencies explicitly authorized by the United States Constitution to which he cannot say "You are fired" and its gone like he does with his cabinet secretaries every other week.

Amazon is not cheaper but convenient that is why it's booming among people who don't mind "the ok" amazon prices for fast service getting items just sitting at home and prime service even saves time, time is money, some people think that way hence the feel that they are saving money.

as far as Trump Amazon feud, who is correct? really depends on which side of the aisles are you. Amazon does cost money to USPS but it's proving large volume hence helps keep running to pay pricey postal workers ( and they have been treated like king as far as salary benefits etc). But post office is not private entity and has asked money from govt. when they went minus, billions. also govt entity cannot have two different pricefor different people if they collects tax from it's citizens. Thus the fued and argument. so what is the main problem? The brat govt workers of postal workers. If they can be run with minimum like ups fedex, they don't have to take Amazon's bait and discriminate others which are small business. The rest speculation is ridiculous here.

it's not about Amazon vs Post Office...but more about online businesses bankrupting local business. Malls, shopping complex...places like Office Depot, Macys, many other source of employment for people closing their doors coz they can't compete. So, Trump wants to make level playing field. This tweet-

"Only fools, or worse, are saying that our money losing Post Office makes money with Amazon. THEY LOSE A FORTUNE, and this will be changed. Also, our fully tax paying retailers are closing stores all over the country...not a level playing field!"

"Also, our fully tax paying retailers are closing stores all over the country...not a level playing field!"

This is what hurts even his own business empire built upon commercial real estate...

I own small businesses and have seen Macy's and Sears and JC Penny close their doors ...which affects local employment.

That's what Trump's tweet is about...

If you guys do not own business, you don't understand Trump's tweet simply because he's a business owner...not a worker..

His tweets about Amazon was a result of a bidding war between two tech titans, Amazon and Oracle, over who would secure some big cloud computing contracts with the government. Not because he is looking out for small businesses.

NepalPsycho, What's exactly is your problem? If you don't have anything to say then don't comment. And stop typing english sentence in nepali because it makes you really stupid. We all are here to share our thoughts because we care about it and not everyone have narcissist personality like you are showing.

45 might tweet angrily at Netflix for Blockbuster's foreseeable extinction.

Blockbuster once had 9,000 stores throughout the US. Fewer than a dozen of them still exist. Toy supplier Toys“R”Us is heading in the same direction.

सत्य कुराले मान्छेहरुको चाक् पोलेछि यस्तै हो |

@साझामित्र In your English typing in simple words, it's called surge of overconfidence that "Yes we know everything! ".  In Reality, all you have is a clinical disorder called ‘Technology Addiction’.
