Guys, I was working as a contractor through an consultancy. My end client said we have to let you go after two weeks from now. My question is after two weeks, in between how many months my consultancy should have to find me a job? If not what happens to my status. I have my husband also with me on H4 visa Status. I have TPS but he does not have it. Any suggestion what should we do from now?

H1b employees get 60 days after your job ends with your employer (who ever holds your h1b). You can protect your status by either running a payroll with them or with another work.
