I applied for AP in first week of October. Accidentally I missed some section of the application form and my form was sent back. Then I send it back. USCIS received it on November 6 2017 and the case is still pending. I already bought ticket for end of December for travel. I am worried if my AP approval won't be approved by end of December.
My fiance is going through some treatment. Is there a way that I could use this reason for expedite my application and if so what are the steps that I need to follow? Do I need to hire an immigration lawyer? Please advise!
They got mine on September 3. It's around 4 full months
They received mine on September 20, haven't heard anything, I see Vermont service center have dated current processing time as of April 24 2017 ever since October. Have any of you requested to expedite your case thru customer service?
@Khaikhok Did you get your approved?
@khaikhok, thank you for the information. I checked online for infopass and couldn't find any available date this month. What would be my other options? Do they take walkins? Yes I have doctor's report for my fiance's check up. She is still going through some Biopsy checkup. Mailing those documents would delay the process?
Check it in the mid night to see available dates. You won’t see any available date during day time. Walk-in also should work.

@ShankarHuShankar, thank you. Any additional document should I take? Air tickets?
@sdhungel were you able to schedule the info pass? or did you just plan to go for Walk-in. I am also worried about my AP.
Thanks
@captainB I got an appointment for December 21. But thinking about walk-in.
you can do walk in. excactly at 11 am everyday ( might differ with offices, front desk people will let you know)they will open few windows for same day appointment. make sure to have a smart phone with internet handy. you can make an appointment for the same day waiting at the waiting hall. i had done this and worked.
I was able to change the Infopass apppointment to yesterday but I couldn't go. I waked in with yesterday's dated appointment and was able to get it. My case got rejected unfortunately but they send request to the local office where my case is pending. I am not sure if I should the local office will approve it quicker because of that. Any idea?
Also, I think walk-ins shouldn't be a problem either.
@sdhungel, I believe your expedite request is rejected but not the AP application. let's hope your case will approved before your travel date.
@captain B, Thanks.
They requested a request to the office where my case is currently pending. The referral has target date of 2 weeks? Anyone have any clue what does that mean? Does the office where my case will make a decision about my travel document application?
@khaikhok, you had any docs to prove relation when you requested for medical emergency AP case?
No just a letter from a doctor. If that is for your fiance, you won't have anything to prove a relationship except photographs.
@khaikhok, You were not asked for other document to verify relation or was the doctor's letter was for you only? Lucky you!
Yeah the guy said fiance is not technically a wife so not an immediate family and the case got rejected.
What should I take with me during info pass appointment, I have a pending case and it is been pending since last 3 months. Should I take a brand new application or just take some evidence and refer to the pending case.
If you are requesting for expedite then they will make you file the application again. So you'll need money order of $575 again, 2 photographs, passport and supporting documents.
