Historically,Shiva margi highcaste Newars considered themselves superior to the Buddhamargi ones, but who gives a frog the dys . Go for it.
But there are some hardcore Newar families in ktm even today and I hope the ones you mention are not amongt them.

Is there particular reason you wanted to know the difference?
If you are considering marrying one , you should not marry any Newar girl because if you were in love you should not be asking these questions.
Secondly : Khas are as racist as redneck. You should not persuade to inter-cast marriage. You are already judgmental.
