I am trying start investing in the stock market as beginner. Apart from Robinhood, which app/ web will be better option to start with less or zero commission ?
can you please recommend some share to buy . Fund available $ 1000 - $ 5000
I am currently watching AMD shares.
Gorkhaymomo,
Which app do you use ??
i use robinhood and acorn
In my opinion, it's not always good to opt in for an app or a company based on commission price. For eg. Robinhood is commission free but it doesn't allow to trade various penny stocks. You should never be confined with a <9 dollar commision price if you planing to be a stock trader.

I agree with aabb.
Poudel_raj you can also use Fidelity Investments as you are investing around $ 1000 - $ 5000, and I honestly think their fees are reasonable if you plan to hold stocks for at least a year.

aabb, Gorkhamomo,
I agree with both of you. Commission is not priority, Just want to select one app out of many app from market. and want to minimize the stock list as per your recommendation put put my eye close to few stock list.
Fidelity might interest you. One of the ways to have free commissions is when you open an account with them, request for some free trade commissions. They will give you based on how much money you deposit.
