You can request them to expedite your case.

I requested expedite thrice. First one never got answered, second one denied and I am waiting response on third one. What I don't understand is why are they taking so long... They never give me same answer. Every time I ask them what is the possible date they keep saying 30 days :@

hey spandey bro..any update regarding your application? i am in the same exact situation. i applied for ead in April, it's still pending. i had to leave my job too but they might re-hire me if ead comes on time, no guarantees. i applied for expedite too and they said they will reply within 5 days, but i didn't get any. let me know of any tips and tricks if your application was approved already.

Hey westcoastlad, My EAD has not arrived yet. My job offer expires on August 14.

If you dont receive any update in 5 days for your expedite requested you can re- request over the phone. Just tell them, you have requested expedite and havnt received any answer in last 5 days. My requested was answer like that. I got answer as my application is under review by officer and should get answer in 30 days.

I can't wait 30 days so if if doesnt come in next week, I will call again and create new expedite request. Is Your TPS is approved already? I hope this helps!

I am in the exact situation as you except that my EAD already expired and I left the job 2 weeks ago. But the employer said they will hire me back if I get EAD soon, within reasonable time. Yes, my TPS is approved, only EAD is being delayed because I applied later around April. Its pending in Nebraska. I will try calling them again to expedite. Also, I heard asking local Congressman's office to expedite the case may be helpful. Fingers crossed. Good luck to you as well. Keep us updated.

One important question, Did you start working through EAD under TPS or something else. Coz if your EAD was under TPS then its automatically extended for six months, even if its expired.

I was working through OPT and this is the first time I am applying for EAD under TPS and TPS extension. Mine TPS extension also hasn't been approved which I applied in Dec, 2016. Mine job offer is already rescinded so I need to find the new job once I have my card :(

For expedite I was calling them in every 5 days if I don't get the answer. My first two expedite request was denied and second two request says, my application is with officer. Its been more than 10 days I have got same response. I talk to second level officer and she told me, my case cannot be expedited anymore coz its already with officer for review. Last time I talk to second level officer she told me Nebska center is currently viewing cases from April 1st. I think Nebraska Center is the worst of all. My first EAD was through Potomac and it came in less than 60 days.

Another thing you can do it call the second level officer, so when you call customer service and tell them you want to talk to second level officer they will keep your call in queue and give you the estimated time. They will call you back with 1800-00-000. you can ask them how far is your application and will tell you possible date of EAD card production, its not guaranteed but u can always try to know more.

I am not sure on what is the process of calling the congressmen and how to find them? Please keep me posted if you get any idea on how to do it. Good luck for you to keeping your job in hand.

pandey bro: I was in TPS EAD before so it did not get automatically extended, like you, and like you this was my first time applying for EAD from TPS. My TPS got approved already in June, which I applied in December. But the EAD I applied for in April. Big mistake. Ali chhito garna parne.
I will try to contact my local congressman and escalate my case. I found the name of the congressman of my zipcode and randomly emailing his office. I saw that they might be helpful according to a thread on Google. Also, I will try to open a new expedited request. Mero ni kam ko boss le card chhhito ayo bhane we will take you back bhanthyo. 3 week bhaisakyo. Jati dhilo bho teti garo hunchha. I think in your case, if your TPS has not been approved, try to contact Ombudsman and use him to get both TPS and EAD in one shot.

I actually got idea of ombudsman from another thread. I saw your comment on that one too. I did make request today. I hope good things come to both of our ways real soon.

Try second level officer, it will definitely help you to have idea on how far is your case.
