Grace period after TPS rejection?

Namaste everyone,

My grace period since my OPT expired will be ending soon. However, my TPS application is still pending. I understand that I can legally reside in the states as long as my application is pending, but what if after a few months my application is denied? How soon after receiving the notice do I have to depart the country?

Any facts or assumption from hearsay will be appreciated. Dhanyawad.

From my understanding I dont believe there will be a rejection right away.
I think you get a NOID(notice of intent to deny) , you are able to appeal that and if rejected repeal it again , you can take it all the way to the immigration courts and fight it there. While you are in that process i think you are still legal alothough you do not qualify for any kind of benifit such as EAD or AP.

Good luck , talk to a lawyer - infact a good lawyer
