If your company do not intentionally delay the process, you should be fine with that time frame.
Your prevailing wages/recruitment/labor certification can be done around 6/7 months. If audited, add another 3-4 months ( @priyasm, that 18 months audit used to be few years ago, these days its just 3/4 of months extra.) . Then you can apply i-140 and i-485 concurrently and in premium. That should get your card in 4-5 months ( but depends upon service center). However , you will get your ead in less than 2 months after you submit your i-485 .
So in 19/20 months from now , you will definitely have your card in your hand despite being audited if your employer do not delay the process.
Mr p and priyasm... Which company do you work for? I am working for one of the reputed company and they do not agree to file green card for me. They say i have to be on L1 or H1 to be able to file for green card.
Is there a hope if i process my labor this month? Anyone on the same boat?
