Need suggestion on which SUV is the best to buy. 25K-30K range. Thanks.
Go for RAV4 (Camry engine), I liked it better than CR-V ( Accord engine ).
Between Rav4 and CR-V, I prefer Rav4. But if you are looking for SUV then I suggest you to increase your budget and go for Highlander. I myself got Rav4 limited for 30K after tax (I think that's a great deal) but now I think that I would be better off buying a smaller car or Highlander. Rav4 has same occupancy and similar trunk as in Camry, and I really don't find any benefit of calling it a SUV.
What about Forester...AWD could come handy in US.
KIA NIRO
PRICE :- $23,000
MPG :- 52 mpg
If you are in North buy Subaru Outback
Look into Acura RDX (FWD) or 2017 Forester (AWD) depending where u live. Negotiate the PRICE- Like President trump.
Highlander/LX Rx-350/Honda pilot
go to the link below. see pros and cons and features of each model and price range.

My option would be if I have more money and more feature:
1. Acura mdx
2. infinity
These are highly luxurious with good price
If you want a decent suv with good feature;
1. Nissan Murano/Rogue
2. toyota rav4
3. subaru (4 wheel drive, low on mileage but great power and good for snow)
4. Hyundai tucson (had heard problem with gear system being stuck)
Nissan murano or toyota rav 4 are great for family and affordable with great feature. If I were you I would choose murano. Murano also has timing chain so u dont have to change the timing belt , I am not sure about rav 4 though.
Now a days most car has timing chain. I am not a great fan of Nissan.
Toyota Venza is slick and sexy , not too pricey.

sorry but toyota venxa is no a suv ,its a VAN :) .
Do not rule out american cars either ...the new explorer i hear is good.
I had a jeep grand chereeko back in the days ..I think that is one of the best suvs I have ever had.
Venza is a crossover or a van ? ? What ever it is , I liked it.

its a van that looks like a crossover ....not SUV for sure.
I got myself a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2 yrs back....... I will not regret !
Indeed, I had a limited V8 AWD and that would smoke any hondas / Toyota any day.
Plus JEEP is a JEEP you can practically drive into a ditch/ snow or anything and it will still come out and survive.
Driving rogue 2015 from 16 months and i am loving it. 33mpg average, only paid 24500 total for sv, all feature ecxept leather seat and moon roof, which i dont think necessary in texas. CVT transmission vibrates lil but smooth. Heated seat, 4 cameras, push start and blind spot. I would say if you want just lil cheap suv in less price, rogue is the one.
Venza is discontinued now, I had one in 2009 ...these were designed for old retired people so there was plenty of leg room and way more comfortable compared to other crossovers.I dont know why someone would think its a van. I liked my Venza more than my RX350, now my wife has a 4 runner, we bought it with the 3rd row seat....I like everything about it, it feels like I am driving a truck but the gas mileage of 16 mpg sucks and even though its the limited version, it doesnt have a lot of features compared to other limited vehicles. If you are in you late 30s and don't care about looks of the vehicle I would highly recommend Highlander. We didnt like the look of the highlander so ended up getting the 4runner.
