Guys, can you share how are you renewing the driving licence under TPS with an expiration date of 12/24/16? I have sent the TPS renewal form but have not received anything. I went to DMV with TPS approval document which shows the expiration date of 12/24/16 and also the print out showing the Federal notice for the auto extension of 6 months but they didn't accept it. How are we suppose to renew the License. Please share your experience and thank you in advance.

time to change the state, BRO. some states, they give you 5 yrs DL even if you go now with 1 month left EAD.

From what i heard California, Illinois and Massachusetts. They issue 5 year driving license but there might be more. All you need is two address proof. But please inquiry before making any decision.

I can confirm, California DOES NOT issue 5 Yrs License for non-resident. Source: I live here,
Illinois does issue 5 yr License for every one. Source : I used to live there

Hello Gazza,
I tried renewing my license with TPS in Nebraska today.
The guy in the counter was not trying to accept the printed federal notice but he asked his manager and then it was okay. But the license is valid only for two months. I guess I will receive new EAD by then.

Thank you all for replying, we were being ask to come back after the EAD expires with the new LIN # for the re-registration, Planning to go on Dec 27th, Can you share which location you went @imjagat?

We went to the 50th St location too and they renewed with re-registration LIN receipt for one year. Thanks everyone for your input and feedback.

My license was renewed up to June 24, 2018 . Documents I showed
1. Previous TPS approval documents
2. Previous Expired TPS EAD
3. TPS renewal Notice of Action
4. Federal Notice
5. Printed page USCIS TPS nepal showing TPS extended information.
